So a few months ago I had solicited some ideas on a road trip during a free week I had in October. The thread can be found here. Originally I had planned to drive up the East Coast to the Vermont/New Hampshire area to do some leaf peeping and driving around the country back roads. But then there was a mention of US 129 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The rest as they say was history.
After 69 driving hours, 3362 miles, 8 states and 2 countries, below are the results.

F22 2 Series coupe (228i) prototype spotted in SoCal. First prototype sighting in the US.
The M235i coupe (315 HP) is already confirmed for the US (see VIN details and spy photos). Production will begin in November 2013 in the Leipzig plant, for an 8 month first-model-year production run (until June 2014). There will be no 235i model in the US or elsewhere, as the M235i will take its place in the lineup.
The M235i will be joined by the 228i coupe in the US. The 228i coupe will also begin production this November. The production 2 Series will be revealed in the Fall, with its public debut potentially coming at the 2013 Frankfurt auto show in September).

AC Schnitzer has brought its updated F31 3 Series Touring to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The F31 3 Series Touring M Sport kit includes a center bumper metal grille, front splitter lips, painted rear diffuser, roof spoiler, and exhaust tail pipes.
Interior bits include painted trim, ACS iDrive knob, hand brake handle, shift knob, and aluminum pedals.
They also showcase their forged wheels and front splitter construction, as well as the company’s N20 engine tune (see specs and dyno plot below).
