As part of its “What´s next?” corporate campaign, the BMW Group has developed an exhibit that makes the company’s commitment to sustainability throughout the value chain come to life.
The pinball exhibit, a virtual version of the classic pinball game, was developed by the BMW Group for its sustainability exhibition, and can now be downloaded as a free application for the iPad and iPhone from the App Store. Martha Stewart accepted BMW’s invitation to design her dream BMW X3 Sports Activity Vehicle using BMW’s “Dream It. Build It. Drive It.” program. Martha used the “Build Your Own” online tool on bmwusa.com to customize her own BMW X3.

News reports overnight indicate that infact MINI might be working on a new micro MINI. Whats more, the small car would actually be designed and built to be sold under the BMW brand according to MINI boss Wolfgang Armbrecht. Its not clear if Mr. Armbrecht is referring to platform sharing between BMW and MINI or if such a project would be headup by the MINI division and then given to BMW.
