For all intents and purposes this car is the ///M version of the X6 whether BMW call it that or not. BMW has long stated it would not produce an ///M version of its popular SAVs, but those were during the days of the X5, we dont know if BMW will be hard and fast with this rule when it comes to the X6.
Regardless, this car does exist, it does sport quad exhausts (///M trademark), some kind of fender grills or emblem (another ///M signature) and a very agressive body … CONTINUED

With BMWs X6 Active Hybrid now well advanced in its development
process, the appearance of this hybrid X5 is not entirely unexpected.
Spinning off the hybrid technology on the X5s largely related
platform seems a no-brainer in this increasingly fuel-conscious
If the huge hood bulge wasnt enough of a giveaway that a new hybrid
powertrain resides within the X5, the neon green warning sticker
affixed to the X5s backlight seemed to announce the state of affairs
plainly enough. It reads: “Caution: Hybrid-Prototype (High Voltage
The real question regarding this X5 Hybrid is whether its running a

“Since the new E90 series BMW M3 was revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show last year, true BMW enthusiasts have been intrigued, but waiting for the CSL to come along. BMW pulled out all the stops in revealing the F01 7-series in Moscow
BMW had this 7-series inside this 40 foot hourglass, hidden in 180,000 balls for two days. On the night of July 8th, BMW emptied the top of the hourglass to reveal the car to 400 invited guests.
The dramatic unveiling in Russia was to demonstrate the events slogan of “Never stand still”
Looks like BMW Russia has a knack for BIG marketing… see this thread for another example –> http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=130736

Initial Impressions: My wife and I arrived in Spartanburg/Greenville Airport via Delta Airways that evening. Called the Marriott for pickup and 15 mins later we were picked up in a Green 2008 BMW X5 4.8i that whisked us to checkin. Very sweet ride! I wanted to drive the X5 and was impressed by the build and quality of the X5. I had considered trading up my 2003 X5 4.4i for one when they 1st debuted but held off. Its V8 sounds sweet better than my 4.4i (but you are on … CONTINUED

In a sad set of news, in an interview the director of BMW M has announced there will be no E92 M3 CSL due to the fact that BMW doesn’t think the car will sell in enough numbers to justify the development of such a car. A sad day, but in these economic times I can’t blame them.

BMW is in the midst of its final testing for the U.S.-spec 335d–the first diesel-powered Bimmer to be sold in North America. The introduction of the 335d will coincide with the launch of facelifted sheetmetal destined for the entire 3-series lineup.
Due to e-mission restrictions, the U.S. version of the 335d will reportedly be down on power from its European cousin (265 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque vs. 282 hp and 428 lb-ft.), but even our U.S. numbers–especially the fat torque number–promise terrific … CONTINUED
For the first time ever, we caught the next generation X3! The current X3 will have to soldier on for a few more years until the arrival of an all-new model slatted for the 2011 model year. Nonetheless, these are the very first spy-shots of Munichs (and Spartanburgs!) compact SUV photographed earlier today.
The new X3s dimensions will hardly change compared with the current one, and its styling will be shaped to reflect elements from the CS Concept. The basic shape will remain much the same, however the new model is … CONTINUED

Motorauthority has released this presumably pshop of what the E90 facelift will look like, but it looks pretty damn accurate to the real car to me based on the spy shots we have already seen. Looks like the perfect facelift, not to major of a change, but still good looking.
