At the PDC for a 2-Day M School and noticed these guys hanging out. Apparently they were here for some press drives. M4 in Sakhir Orange. M3 in Austin Yellow and Alpine White.

Rear tires on the AW M3…toast. I tried to get a good pic of the driver seat with the cloth, but with the windows closed and the way the lighting was, it just washed out.

As far as when the M3/4 will become part of the fleet for the M Schools, … CONTINUED

The rain that started to fall as the lights went out to signal the start of the second round of the 2014 DTM made the race in Oschersleben (DE) a tyre lottery. After an eventful race, with no fewer than three safety car periods, Augusto Farfus (BR) came home fifth in the Castrol EDGE BMW M4 DTM, while Martin Tomczyk (DE) also picked up points, finishing ninth in the BMW M Performance Parts M4 DTM.

Preview of the much anticipated F80 M3 / F82 M4 video review by Chris Harris.

Here are his testing notes:

Engine
Weird noise to begin with. No word of a lie, I laughed out loud when trying to define it – all I could think was ‘mapped 335d’. It’s less musical, lower frequency and less clearly straight-six than the M235i I’m currently driving. At first I didn’t like it much, then it became a non-issue and after thrashing around a circuit for a while I almost liked … CONTINUED
