Lumma has introduced its F10 5-series – the CLR 500 RS2, at the Mosow Motor Show. The CLR 500 RS2 boasts 380hp and extensive bodywork not meant for the timid. Its exterior features a matte black paint matched to carbon fiber hood, trunk spoiler, and rear bumper bits.
The N54 (and not N55 as originally planned) has been confirmed to power the 1M. Rest assured, this won’t be your average N54 motor from BMW’s standard models, but a tweaked version expected to deliver more power than the already tweaked version in the “is” models.
We bring you the first photos of the the F20 1-series interior on a 135i. The center console is clearly seen. Compared to the current 1-series, the console appears to be more driver oriented, the screen remains a hide-away version, and the radio controls have swapped positions with the air controls.
BMW didn’t reveal much info on the 1M this past Friday, but notable confirmed details include its color (Valencia Orange Metallic, a new exclusive color), transmission (manual 6-speed only), and the wheels to be M3 competition wheels. Other info include that the front air intake, sideskirts, and rear view mirrors are all very similar to the M3′s.
These pics include the best photos yet of the F10 M5 interior. We have yet to see an M5 with a manual transmission shifter. The M5 test cars continue to be spied and have already been showing their production interior, wheels, side mirrors, trunk spoiler, among other features. Its hard to believe that the new M5 will not be premiered until the 2011 Frankfurt IAA in September 2011, but it’s true.
It’s been a long while since we’ve had word on the hotly anticipated Z2 Coupe and Roadster, but BMW insider Scott26′s confirms that the Z2 twins are underway and have been designed by Designworks. He has also stated that the Z2 is currently expected in 2013.
Forum member elfhearse has provided the best undercarriage photos yet of the 1M Coupe. From these photos it’s easy to see the M limited slip differential with its large cooling fins, as well as the M suspension bits. This car is very much ///M.
Only 1/4 of the 1M Coupe was actually revealed at Oktoberfest, but Bimmerpost members are masters of details and imagination. The very observant member Shinobi has spotted what looks to be the edge of a front fender vent peeking out from under the cover.
Our friends at Bimmerfile have posted these photos of the 1-series M Coupe from earlier in the day at Oktoberfest. Under the sunlight it’s much easier to see the true hue of the Valencia Orange color. Not much more of the car is revealed in these photos, but we do get to see the same car from different angles.

Insideline has strapped a 2011 535i onto the dyno. This is the first we have seen an F10 5-series on the dyno and its N55 motor produced 277rwhp / 283lb-ft torque, translating approximately to BMW’s claimd 300hp / 300 lb-ft torque figures for the 2011 535i.
