What does the future of the BMW X portfolio hold? According to insider Scott26, BMW is keen on a potential X4 (think smaller X6) which shares technology with the X3, an X3 35iS sharing engine from z4 35iS and 335iS, and an X3M with motor from upcoming 1M Coupe.
This photo posted by insider Scott26 shows a camera rig being used to shoot the 1M Coupe for a promo spot or commercial. The use of a motorcycle for a camera rig is interesting and we predict that it will result in some very exciting angles and perspectives of the 1M in the resulting video.
This is certainly becoming a predictable pattern and result. AMS Magazine stacks the deck against the M3 ZCP by pitting it against the RS5, C63 Performance Package, and the ALpina B3 S. The M3 ZCP is touted for its performance as well as its driving comfort. Full performance results inside.

How often do you see a “truck” accelerating this fast, with the needle moving revving so quickly, and sounding this good? Probably never, unless you’re looking at an X5M or X6M and its monster S63 motor. Check out this very visceral video of the X5M from outside and inside.
