BMW is presenting its Concept BMW Application Store at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). It’s the world’s first carmaker to demonstrate possibility of downloading and storing individual applications either from the car at any time on the move or from your PC at home.
We dont usually cover BMW motorcycle related news, but BMW fans should enjoy this video of Chris Pfeiffer riding his BMW F 800 R motorcycle into, up, and on top of of the 22 story BMW Tower in Munich. While at the top were treated to wild crazy free style riding!
2010 X6 35i and 50i models will get a new BMW “Performance Upgrade” option which will boost both horsepower and torque.
The BMW X1 is set to be a hit for BMW in the compact SUV market, especially in europe where a presense in this market is becoming more and more important.
Since September 1st, 2009 the plant has begun churning out 75 of these cars per day, which will ramp up to 300 per day at the end of the year.

BMW has historically always had a strong presense at the IAA, but this year looks like it may be the biggest show for BMW yet.
September 15 marks the start of the show and BMW will be situated in the all new Hall #11. This is a newly constructed addition to the IAA and BMW is making the most of the new space. First and formost, BMW will finally be able to display all of is brands next to each other, in past years MINI and RR have had to be in a separate building because of space issues.

To commemorate the X5’s 10th birthday, BMW has released the X5 xDrive 10-year Commemorative Edition, limited to only 2,000 cars.
Featured in this video are various F10 5-series in motion. Until now we have really only seen the 5-series with the minimal camoflage in still photos. While the video isnt of the greatest quality, you can clearly tell that the car looks great in motion… IMO.
One of the new colors seen in the video is a new Amethyst Silver color for the upcoming F10.

We bring you the first photos of what appears to be a 6 cylinder twin turbo F20 1-series 5-door hatchback in testing. Until now, the only F20 1-series prototypes we have seen have featured a single exhaust outlet. This newly spotted F20 features split dual exhaust outlets, which, judging by BMWs current models, usually signifies the presence of the 3 liter twin-turbo engine under the hood. The wheels featured on this F20 test mule have also not been spotted before and may very well be the standard (or optional) wheels we will see on the next 135i hatchback.
