Speaking of special edition M3′s, the US version was the Frozen Gray M3. Most of these 30 limited edition M3′s have now been delivered or accounted for and many owners are M3POST members. Being as fanatical as they are, M3POST members have compiled this list showing where/whom each Frozen Gray M3 was delivered to.
There’s word that BMW has plans to release a Limited M3 Tiger Edition to the Chinese market, to commemorate the current Year of the Tiger. Appropriately, the M3 Tiger Edition will feature the M3 GTS’ fire orange metallic paint with black accented elements. Blacked out parts will include its style 359M 19″ wheels, hood air inlets, kidney grills, and black chrome exhaust tips.
The interior will feature black leather Novilla with contrasting orange stitching. The front seat headrests will be embroidered with a unique tiger head emblem. And the door sill plates will bear a Tiger Edition Logo in fire orange metallic color. An estimated 250 copies will be produced. No details yet on any performance enhancements or photos, but stay tuned.

Seen here is the most recent sighting of the upcoming 2012 F20 1-series 3 door hatchback. Compared to the last set of 1-series 3 door photos, this prototype has dropped some of its lighting camouflage in front and rear. Compared to the current E81 1-series, this prototype appears more squat, with a wider stance a sportier and more angled tailgate.
Andrei Arvarvarii has produced this rendering of the future all electric BMW Megacity Vehicle. Based on the official BMW Megacity concept teaser image, this interpretation seems to inject some production practicality, such as a higher roof, door handles, smaller wheels, and antenna. But overall, it stays true to the BMW teaser image.
The twin turbo V8 F10 550i sounds fairly aggressive from the factory, but never ones to leave stock alone, our members have begun to their F10 exhausts. These electronic exhaust cutouts have given this 550i some added rumble without the need for a full exhaust swap.

Rarely has the car been photographed parked and so up close. Only the few strips of camouflage tape remains. The 2012 M5 is expected to premier at the 2011 Frankfurt IAA autoshow in September 2011.

BMW M3 GT2 cars place third and sixth in this weekend’s Mid-Ohio ALMS race. This represents the eighth podium finish in the sixth race for BMW Rahal Letterman Racing. BMW is now currently tied for the championship lead with three races remaining. Bonus in-car video inside.
