G-Power has revealed two 600hp cars to honor the BMW Motorsports Team for the win at the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance race. According to G-Power, the M3 GT2 S offers a Porsche 911 GT3 RS equivalent for BMW fans and the M3 Tornado CS is the “civilian version” of the M3 GT2 S. Full details and photos inside.

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – May 22, 2010… The BMW Rahal Letterman Racing Team fought to its third consecutive podium (four total for the season) with a second place finish by the No. 90 M3 GT of Joey Hand and Dirk Müller in today’s six-hour American Le Mans Series race at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
After leading the bulk of laps going into the closing stage of the race, Hand was passed on the final restart to finish second, a bittersweet ending to a day that began with a crash in morning warm-up and an immediate rebuild of the No. 90 machine by the BMW-RLR crew. Hello all, finally went to Munich to pick up the car and head out for my 8 day roadtrip "over there". I kept a running diary of what was great and not so great and its ended up being a long blog….but interesting if youd care to know about the perks….and the perils of Euro Delivery. On the ED forum in Bimmerfest, the info is all wonderful but thats just the problem….its ALL wonderful. And for people who are fanatic about their cars (clean, polished, ding/dent free, etc, etc particularly when they are brand new), well the truth is that ED might just cause you ED of another nature!!

In order to commemorate their huge win at the 24hours Nurburgring race, BMW has a few things in store. But they’ve kicked things off with a nicely put together, albeit too short, of a video about the even, which highlights the end of the race when they seemed to have it. I have a feeling more behind the scenes videos and interviews will come out later on, but so far this is a good way to kick things off
Following its recent world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the new BMW 335i-based Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo is now available for order in the UK with first deliveries to start in July.
Offered in four-door saloon, Touring, Coupe and hardtop Convertible forms, the new B3 S comes with a modified 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight six upgraded to deliver a hefty 400HP at 6,000 rpm and 540Nm or 398.3 lb-ft of peak torque.
The 0-62mph (100km/h) sprint takes 4.7 seconds for both the saloon and coupe models which are also capable of achieving a top speed of 186mph or 300km/.
