Congrats to M3post member noxredna for placing 1st in the Enthusiast Class at the Redline Time Attack Race held last weekend in New Jersey. He clocked a time of 1:17.638 with his 2008 M3 coupe and beat the 2nd place car by 3 secs! Check inside for his great writeup, videos, and photos.
The F10 5-series recently debuted in Asia at a launch event gala held in Hong Kong. This particular F10 launch event appears to be the fanciest one yet, including musical and artistic performances and celebrity appearances. Even the F10 models on hand were the most decked out, with more wheel variety and some accessory parts.

The next generation 1-series is expected to spawn off additional variants not present in the current 1-series lineup. Autobild speculates and illustrates the six 1-series models it believes are slated to introduced from 2011 to 2013, including 3-door, 5-door, coupe, convertible, sports van, and GT variants.

Spotted during testing on the Nurburgring today was the BMW M1 test mule! This test mule doesnt wear the more advanced prototype M1 body as we posted earlier, but is out testing powertrain, chassis, suspension, and handling properties. We also see for the first time what could be the carbon fiber roof.

Techno Classica Essen
This past weekend I went to Essen (Germany) to go see the Techno Classica Essen. It is a very cool and eccentric classic car show. I saw some really cool cars and a ton of memorabilia and collectables. I have been wanting to go to this event ever since I heard about it way, way back when! I am glad I went!
I tried to concentrate on BMW cars. But there was really so many cool cars it was hard to edit my photo essay. I am glad I took two cameras with me because my first camera ran out of battery life right as I got to the BMW … CONTINUED
M3post member and friends traveled recently to the Nurburgring for a week long experience of The Green Hell. They brought back what most of us can only dream of seeing in a week’s time on the track – everything from your standard M3 and M5′s to the M3 GT2 and Z4 GT3 race cars.
