A BMW spokesman talking with iMotorMag states that there is no business case for making an M Roadster/M Coupe based on the Z4 due to the poor economic climate.

we will see how the M does…. This is always a good start for a new car because whatever will break on the car… WILL break.. so it shows its flaws sooner… obviously you wont finish well in the race tho….

The new BMW Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo saloon has arrived on UK showroom floors priced at 29,950 GBP when equipped with a manual gearbox and at 31,585 GBP when opted with an automatic transmission.
