Ever since I was young it was a dream of mine to have my car in a magazine. When my last one was part of a small feature I thought that was awesome. Never did I think I would make it to the cover page though. I would like to thank Active Autowerke, without them this wouldnt have been possible, and my car would not be nearly as much fun to drive. Also photographer and editor Helmut Werb for writing this article and taking the awesome pics, again it would not have been possible with out him. Lastly I would like to thank my friend Omar Murray who is also featured in this article. His car is wicked and I hope one day to have an M3 as bad ass … CONTINUED
well, i just got home from taking my E90 M3 to homestead speedway for the day. the car has no performance mods, and i was running on the stock PS2 tires. the car handled like a dream, and i was able to take corner 1 at 120mph! MDM mode helps, but can get annoying when you try to get out of a hole… now the brakes need work, they overheated WAY too easily stock. i think im going to get some track pads, and change the fluid for next time. it was so bad that i had to do a cool down lap about every 5 laps just to get them working again… also, the engine got very hot, almost 3/4 of the way on the temp gauge, is this … CONTINUED

People are of course also curious as to how much power they will be able to extract from the engine, because BMW has set the bar very high from the factory. Atleast we can have one answer from this leaked picture

Well, as its named.. its a limited sport edition Nice marketing. But seriously, the car does come equipped every X3 should come straight out of the factory with the OEM sport body kit, nicer interior trim and wheels. I love the color too!

BMW is reportedly developing a new navigation element which can guess your next destination based on driving habit and time of day. BMW is sorry Dave, it cannot let you put this route at risk.
The new system would analyze past driving patterns, previous destinations, time of day and other variable and suggest a list of destinations you might be en-route to. Its not a terrible idea, but if you dont know where youre going or how to get there by the time the car has learned where you might be going, theres something wrong. Undoubtedly this technology will be paired with real time traffic, accident and weather notifications to make getting where youre going more reliably quick, but the notion of learning cars freaks us out.… CONTINUED
Is the rumored little roadster from BMW on track for a 2011 debut? Auto Motor und Sport seems to think so. They even have a rendering by renowned artist Mark Stehrenberger to prove it. If we are to believe the rumors, the BMW Z2 should be closer to what the original Z3 was. That is, more of an entry level roadster to compete with the premium versions of the Mazda MX-5, compared to the more upscale Z4 that just debuted, which is more of a Porsche Boxster rival.
