German magazine Automotorundsport has put out these new renders of what the next generation 1-series could look like. It seems as though these renders are WAY off the reality of what will come. Most sources seem to confirm that the next one will take alot of styling cues from the BMW GINA concept car in some form, while these renders seem to rely on the current BMW 7-Series styling. Regardless, it did seem like an interesting attempt and worth the post.

Auto Motor Und Sport has put together speculative images of the 2012 F30 3-series and upcoming 3-series PAS using elements from BMW’s latest offerings (7-series, Z4 and 5-series GT)
Ever since the new BMW 5-Series (F10) has had its front bumper publically outed and then what seemed to be a page from the advertising brochure, the photoshoppers have been going all out to create mimicks of what the car may look like. Jon Sibal gives us a high quality interpretation

Is the rumored little roadster from BMW on track for a 2011 debut? Auto Motor und Sport seems to think so. They even have a rendering by renowned artist Mark Stehrenberger to prove it. If we are to believe the rumors, the BMW Z2 should be closer to what the original Z3 was. That is, more of an entry level roadster to compete with the premium versions of the Mazda MX-5, compared to the more upscale Z4 that just debuted, which is more of a Porsche Boxster rival.… CONTINUED
Talk about a major screwup. Here we have a leaked photo of the F10 5 Series front end. This is no photoshop job, this is the real deal and it seems to have been leaked WAY in advance of the release of this car and I’d have to assume this is unintended. I do have to say that this looks to be the best styled 5-series ever and I’m in serious anticipation of this car!!

Looks fake to me with just a hodgepodge combination of current BMW cars into one photoshopped car (the wheels being the biggest giveaway of it being a PS). But let the speculation go fourth ..
Either way, its a great look at what the general shape of the upcoming PAS would be like: An X6 silhouette on a lowered more sedan like body.

Note! This is a photoshop and not an actual picture of a real car!!
Well, believe it or not, BMW is already working on the next generation 3-series just as the new facelift E90s are coming out.
The 3 series accounts for about 44% of BMW sales, so suffice it to say its important and BMW has to get it right every time. BMW is taking its cues from the CS concept and will incorporate both dynacism and elegance all in one.
BMW will also go headstrong with their EfficientDynamics push with the … CONTINUED

BMW knows how to court controversy and this this top-secret X2 is likely to offend purists as much as a long-wheelbase, limo-spec M3. The X2 revealed today in our artist’s impression is BMW’s riposte to Land Rover’s achingly hip LRX coming in 2012: a smaller, funkier 4×4 meets coupe.
The X2 project is part of the new X1 family that we will finally get to see at next month’s Paris motor show 2008. A concept X1 will be shown at the Salon de l’Automobile on 2 October 2008 ahead of a … CONTINUED
These are the latest rendering by Huckfeldt of what he thinks the upcoming X1 and X3 redesign could be. These seem to be off-base IMO as they are not inline with BMWs current styling trend

The next 3-series is slated to arrive in 2012 and will likely be under the chassis name F30. Many changes are expected, but some unexpected. German magazine Autobild gives us some of their insights
The BMW V-series. Doesnt seem like the most brilliant naming scheme (it could be confused with the engine designation), but there are multiple reports about this new lineup, these reports have been verified by the BMW brass, and new test mules were spotted around the road and track.
The international media is reporting that although the mule pictures below looks very similar to the X6, this is more of a “crossover” vehicle that will mix the elements of a sedan with the extra comfort and and luxury offered by larger SUVs. … CONTINUED
BMW is speculated to be producing an all new segment of vehicle called the PAS. Progressive Activity Sedan. A hybrid sedan roughly the size of a 5-series BMW. Here is an early rendering of what this car could look like.
