The long rumored 2 Series Gran Coupe has yet to be spotted in testing, but we’d be highly surprised if BMW did not go after the CLA and A3 sedan with its own small sports sedan. The company is seemingly entering all niches in which its German competitors have offerings, even niches with much smaller sales potential than the small sedan space, so we expect to see a 2 Series “Gran Coupe” sedan after the Coupe and Convertible 2 Series are released. Artist Theophilus Chin has rendered what he thinks the 2 Series Gran Coupe may resemble, drawing heavily upon the nearly fully uncovered M235i Coupe we showed you four months ago.
The 2 Series Gran Coupe would be a 4 door version of the Coupe … CONTINUED
Don’t possess X-ray vision to see past all that camouflage which remains on the F83 M4 convertible prototype? No worries, we give you this digital preview.
As the spy photos and our renders show, the M4 convertible will generally share the M4 coupe and M3 sedan’s styling, and of course powerplant/drivetrain.
The biggest difference will be the M4 cabrio’s folding hardtop. Unlike the M4 and M3′s carbon fiber double-hump roof, the M4 convertible will be metal and operate and fold in the same manner we’re used to seeing on the E93 M3 convertible. We stitched together earlier spy photos for a preview video (reposted below).
The M4 convertible will debut later in 2014, after the the M4 coupe and M3 sedan have their world debuts at the Detroit … CONTINUED

Jon Sibal shares with BIMMERPOST his vision of what a BMW M4 DTM racer could look like. Starting with one of our images from the Pebble Beach reveal, he has transformed the already aggressive looking M4 Concept into a monster (the good kind).
If you didn’t catch the news earlier, BMW has already announced (but not yet revealed) an M4 DTM car for the 2014 DTM race series.
We have posted even more BMW M4 Coupe Concept images in different colors, with some wheels thrown in.
We’ve rendered the just revealed M4 Coupe Concept in a few more colors, which are more likely to resemble production colors than the Aurum Dust paint of the concept model.
Enjoy, and check back later for our upcoming live photos of the M4 concept!
Some first renders of the 2016 7 Series (G11), which is rumored to the first non-i BMW model to receive extensive use of carbon fiber construction to reduce weight.
What could a modified BMW i3 look like? Our resident photoshop gurus have already gotten to work and here’s a first idea.
An interactive 3D modeler of the M235i Coupe is now available at Humster3D. This digitally modeled version is based off the revealing spy photos of the M235i we posted last month.
Generally speaking, it does a decent job at previewing the M235i, although it does have to make some predictions as to the rear view and tail lights, which remain partially covered in the spy photos. Its surfacing is also too flat in some areas, as the actual M235i’s hood and front fascia have more shape and curves.
