Comparing the M3 to the pasty software engineer, Ken Jennings, who kept winning on Jeopardy, and whose success annoys some people by administering beat-downs on some of the world’s best cars, C/D drove from their editorial HQ in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) to find out if the C63 AMG coupe is the M3’s real-estate agent from Ventura.

Car and Driver reviews the 2012 650i coupe and comes away impressed with its dual ability to serve up brawn and beauty, or “the drag and Las Vegas strips” as they call it.
The power 400hp 4.4L V8 of the 650i (which it shares with the 550i) paired with an 8 speed automatic transmission was able to give Car and Driver drivers an impressive 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in just 12.9 seconds @ 112mph!

Top Gear online takes their first drive of the F30 3 series, and like the other reviews they are impressed. So much so that they proclaim that “It’s the best car in its class. Still.”
What Car? give the new 2012 BMW 3 series a full five stars, saying that it shows just how dominant the current 3 Series is that the only car the new model has to beat is its predecessor – and that it does. In short, if you’re in the market for a compact executive, this is the one to go for. It’s a “Perfect Replacement” for the E90 as they call it.
