Check out these beautiful renders of one of BMWs most hotly anticipated new M cars — the F10 BMW M5. The new M5 is expected to bow in one years time at the 2011 Geneva auto show, a year after the regular F10 5-series sedan makes its world premiere at the 2010 Geneva show next month.
Here is the latest video from Auto Motor Und Sport of the BMW F20 1-series hatchback in winter testing. It has been a while since we last saw a spy video of the new upcoming 1-series 5-door hatch. Here you see a rendering of the upcoming BMW M1 from Autozeitung magazine. According to BMW marketing insider Scott26, “The look is very close to the aerodynamic pack that adorns the M1″ (minus the metallic crossbars). The magazine also mentions that the M1 will go on sale in Summer 2011, with 355 bhp, 0-60 mph under 5 seconds, and M3 suspension!
The concept M1 is expected at the Geneva Auto Show.
This F10 M5 photoshop was posted by BMW insider Scott as he mentioned that the F10 M5 photoshops floating around have all relied too much on the M3s looks. Instead, its suggested that we look to the X5M/X6Ms "sharper" looks for the upcoming M5 and M1s design. We take this to mean that the M5s bumper will be more aggressive as in this image, rather than the M3-like bumper seen in most M5 photoshops.
The rear valence and diffuser on the new M5 is also said to be more sculptured than the M3-like bumper seen in M5 photoshops.

According to Auto Motor Und, BMW is expanding its lineup with 2 small models in 2014 – a “Mini” BMW and the BMW City car. The “Mini” BMW will compete with the Mercedes A class and upcoming Audi A1 with a 3 cylinder engine good for 90-170 hp. The other is what the mag is calling “BMW City / Mega City” and is being developed under Project i, BMWs city car and super efficient car program. It’s 4 meters, seats 4, is lighweight, powered by 167hp/250tq electric engine which has range of 160km. This car will have a two seat version as well.
The 2011 F10 5-series is one of the most hotly anticipated sedans in years and it shows in the many tuners that already have big plans for tuning and customizing the F10 5-series and F10 M5. Check out the F10 visions of Nowack, Lumma, Carline, Racing Dynamics, Hamann, Kerscher, and Brabham. Tuning company Nowack has plans to tune all the gasoline models for more power, from the 528i to the 550i.
