AC Schnitzer tunes the M135i hatchback to 360 HP. The extra power drops the 0-100kmh (0-62mph) time from 4.9 seconds to 4.7 seconds and the 80-180kmh time from 12.9 seconds to 10.8 seconds.

The M135i Concept has debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow. It previews the upcoming M135i, the next vehicle which will join the ranks of BMW’s new M Performance vehicle lineup (in addition to the already revealed M550d and X5/X6 M50d). It also represents the first petrol/gasoline M Performance model. If that’s not enough firsts, this concept is also the first official look at the F21 3-door hatchback.
No specs have been released on the M135i yet, but BMW has printed that it employs a straight six-cylinder petrol power plant featuring M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology with a power output of more than 300 hp.

It’s teaser time again. BMW is speeding up their newly founded M Performance division. Some days ago, BMW announced the first M Performance vehicles powered by the triturbo N57 Diesel engine. Now it’s time to put their effort on the smaller cars.
Seen in this video is a teaser for the new lineup of M Performance accessories for the F20 1 series (we expect the F30 to follow shortly). We got a first glimpse at this lineup back at Frankfurt. The interesting parts are still blurred in the video, so expect unique M Performance front and rear bumpers, M Performance Brakes comprising of red calipers, slotted and drilled brake discs, carbon rear view mirrors, interior CF trim (feels incredibly good) and other goodies.

The latest Euro NCAP results are in and the 2011 F20 1-series has received the full 5-star rating.
The new 1 series even scored well enough to achieve the maximum safety rating under a stricter NCAP criteria being introduced next year. For the 2012 tests, cars will be required to score at least 60% (up from current 40%) in the pedestrian protection category to be awarded a full 5 stars.
