Seen here, at the Brussels auto show is the first sight of the F30 3 series M Sport looking great with the optional Style 403M 19″ wheels and the blue M sport brakes that we’ve been mentioning. As we just posted about, it hasn’t yet been decided whether the blue M Sport brakes will be a part of the M Sport Package or optional.

For BMW, the BMW 3 Series is the focus of attention at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series Sedan is world’s best-selling premium car. Have a look at the wide range and the different lines, together with BMW Group Chief Designer Adrian van Hooydonk.
We haven’t seen the long wheelbase F30 since our most recent spy photos from last July, but it’s now been revealed in China. Seen here is a 335Li, which will be manufactured in China for sale only in China (like all new F30s for the Chinese market) and provides for more spacious backseat area with more legroom. The BMW 3-series Li will debut at the Beijing Autoshow in April 2012.
Here’s some great news for the 3 series touring fans in the US – the US market will receive the F31 3 series touring! BMW’s decision to bring the 5 Series GT to the US and nip the F11 5 series touring in return had us all a bit worried whether the 3 series touring to be unveiled later this year would share a similar fate.
Fortunately, Paul Ferraiolo, Manager, Product Planning & Strategy of BMWNA, confirmed with us during 2012 Detroit NAIAS that the next … CONTINUED
From a dealer presentation event for BMW Performance Parts come the first views of the BMW Performance parts for the F30 3 series. Both the M Sport and non-M Sport accessories are seen here.
Parts we can see include carbon fiber splitters, carbon fiber front lip, gloss kidney grilles, 19″ wheels, performance racing stripes, and painted rear bumper diffuser.
On the standard F30, you can see the BMW Performance sideskirts and gloss black wheels with red pinstripes.

Here’s another highlight of the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the Active Hybrid 3.
Seen here in Modern Line configuration, the Active Hybrid 3 combines BMW’s smooth 3.0l N55 inline 6 and an electric motor for a maximun output of 335hp and 450Nm. It does 0-62kph in less than 5.9 seconds and returns 37 miles to the gallon. To further improve mpg there’s also an intelligent navigation system to optimize your routes for a hybrid. We’re here live at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS) where the star of the BMW display this year, the 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan (F30), has just made its North American debut.
On display so far is a base model (no lines) F30 328i in arctic silver, a 335i luxury line, and a 328i sport line. We’re told that the M Sport will be hitting the floor a bit later so we’ll try to snag some photos when it makes its appearance.

Less than a week away from its US debut at the 2012 Detroit NAIAS, the F30 sightings have increased. Spotted on the streets of Germany is this alpine white base F30 and at the BMWNA HQ in New Jersey was a sport line F30 in red.
Here is the first BMW F30 3 series TV commercial released. With BMW as the official vehicle sponsor of this summer’s London Olympics, the ad’s message is that the world’s class athletes’ performance, balance, agility, and control are shared by the all new F30 3 series.
As the full German F30 catalogue has been published, we can now share more details of the much-anticipated F30 M Sport Package.
First off, the M Sport Package is supposed to be available from July 2012 on (worldwide). That’s in line with our previous estimate as production of the model year 2012 F30 will end in June 2012 and model year 2013 beginning in July 2012.

For our Canadian readers and members, here is the Canadian F30 3 Series ordering guide. F30 ordering in Canada has started and F30 Canadian pricing will be released “on time for the official Canadian launch of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan at the Montreal Autoshow in mid-January 2012.”
Compared to the US model, the 335i comes standard with Sport Line and 328i is standard with Luxury Line.

We’re attending the press drives for the BMW F30 3 series in Barcelona, Spain and to kick off the test drives, BMW has released a new set of high resolution photos of the F30 on location.
The photo sets inside feature: all model lines on location at the Circuit de Catalunya Formula 1 track, a 328i Sport Line, and a 320d Modern Line.
