We bring confirmation of the 1 series M coupe’s power numbers! Seen here is a screenshot of upcoming BMW motors, including the 1M coupe’s 340hp motor, and a potential 451hp motor for a US version (or more likely, the next gen F30/F32 M3)!

Let me start with some cliff notes for those of you who may not want to read the entire review. After this experience, and depending on how the 1M will be priced, Im looking at putting my 135 up for sale which I never thought I would do. I really do like my 135, but the 1M is on … CONTINUED

I am the only Asian test driver of this event.
I have a Z4 23i & a X5 30xdrive. I have driven 135 convertible before.
The first impression was not so impressive because the real shape of the car was masked by the camouflage. But I noticed the back of the car was so wide. The sound of starting the engine was wonderful. The clutch is not extremely hard. The gear shift distance is short & precise. Easy to handle (this is … CONTINUED

Most if not all 1 Series M Coupe initial drive reviews are now in. We’ve compiled the list for your review and reference. The next set of reviews should be actual drives of the production version sometime next year after the 1M coupe’s reveal at 2011 NAIAS in Detroit.
Autobild is reporting that a carbon fiber roof will be an available option on the upcoming 1 series M coupe, the first we have heard of this. The lack of denial by BMW insider Scott26 who chimed in on the topic makes us think this one potentially has some solid credibility.

The 1M coupe is said to be coming in only three colors – Valencia Orange, Black, and Alpine White, the latter of which is previewed here by our Alpine325ci. Seen here is a rear rendering which follows the stunning front rendering from a few weeks back.
Car Enthusiast weighs in with their initial drive impressions, and yet positive review, full of potential for the 1M Coupe.
Another Review , And again they love it… Heres what they say: When you see the BMW 1-series M Coupé in the metal, it’s hard not to be impressed. It’s not beautiful. But the added visual muscle and ground-hugging stance of the new entry-level M-car raises expectations of the performance lurking within. It’s a shot of attitude before you’ve even climbed … CONTINUED
