It’s a testament to the appeal of the BMW F10 M5 that it has been added to BIMMERPOST member Simon Lam’s seriously impressive collection of cars.
The 2013 M5 joins Simon’s garage which currently features the C63 AMG Black Series, Ferrari F458, Ferrari 599, 911 GT2, CLK63 AMG, Abarth 500, and Rolls Royce.

It currently features IND painted side grills, painted front grills, painted reflectors, and Eisenmann 102mm Race Exhaust with cross pipe.
Agency Power has released its carbon fiber aero parts for the F10 M5. Available are two different style carbon fiber hoods, a carbon fiber CSL style trunk, and a carbon fiber finned diffuser.
These parts are 2×2 carbon fiber weave and clear coated.
Final official numbers have been released on the Manhart Manhart Racing MH5 S Biturbo F10 M5 and it comes in at an impressive 646 HP (475 kW) and 570 lb-ft (773 Nm) torque [a +86hp / +68 lb-ft gain over stock] . Top speed is now 196 mph (316 km/h).
All this power is generated from its ECU software tune, MHR carbon fiber air intake system, downpipes (can be ordered with catalytic converters) and sports exhaust system with 90mm tail pipes (video below).
This particular MH5 S M5 is wrapped in matte grey vinyl and adorned with a carbon fiber body kit which includes a front spoiler lip, GTR vented hood, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler.

The IND F10 M5 engine bay gets a carbon fiber makeover with the GruppeM Ram Air Intake System. Not only does it look the part, but in previous tests by Studie Japan, this carbon fiber air intake system recorded peak gains of +15 HP and +30 lb-ft torque over stock.
On the GruppeM intake for the BMW F10 M5, the factory ductwork and airboxes are replaced with heat-shielding carbon fiber with enhanced inlets to capture the maximum amount of air. Lower intake air temperatures carry higher concentrations of oxygen, allowing for more energetic explosions and producing more horsepower and torque. Of course, reliability is never sacrificed. High-efficiency, high-flow K&N air filter materials prevent contaminants from interfering with proper engine function.
