You can now visualize and preview your own 4 Series Coupe with the BMW online configurator/visualizer.
It’s not the market specific build-your-own configurator that will include pricing and market-specific packages/options, but it’s still fun to play with the different lines, colors, interiors, and wheels options.
The release photos of the 4 Series Coupe M Sport left much to be desired, coming in only one color (Estoril Blue) and in a limited number of angles.
But, we’ve got some more looks for you – in multiple angles and in an array of production colors (and two fantasy colors). They are pictured here with the optional 19″ M Sport wheels (Style 442M).
The 4 Series M Sport package is equipped with:
M Sport suspension standard (RWD models only)
M Sport Brakes standard (also available as stand-alone option on all 435i coupes and optional upgrade on 428i coupe when M Sport is chosen)
M aerodynamic package (front apron, rear bumper/diffuser, side skirts)
You’ve seen the comparisons between the BMW 4 Series Coupe and the E92 3 Series and Mercedes C Class, not have a look a BMW’s newest coupe versus the Audi A5 and S5, the 4 Series’ closest and strongest competitor.
As you can see in the tables inside, the specs between BMW’s and Audi’s midsize coupes are very similar in performance (for the 435i and S5) and each have nearly identical physical measurements, except weight and weight distribution.
Many BIMMERPOST members were in attendance at the BMW North America Open House event this past Friday in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. While great times were had by all from the various models and exhibits arranged for their visit, the highlight (and surprise) of the event was the reveal of the 4 Series Coupe to the group. This represented the first ‘public’ reveal of the 4 Series Coupe as Friday coincided with the online reveal of the 4 Series Coupe.
See below for some photos of the 435 xDrive revealed at the event. Thanks to Accelerometer, awong and dbs600 for sharing their pictures.

We’ve put together a comparison versus the physical specs, powerplants and performance of the new 4 Series Coupe and the Mercedes C Class Coupe, as well as the comparison photos.
The 4 Series has the C Class Coupe beat in the performance department, hands down. As for styling, well that’s subjective, but the comparison photos inside should help you form your own opinion.
Remember the photo set we posted which first revealed the 4 Series Coupe — the ones captured in downtown LA during a BMW commercial shoot for the F32?
Well, here’s the results of that shoot – the first 4 Series Coupe promo trailer. Click on thumbnail inside to view the trailer (at BMW.tv).
Head of BMW design, Karim Habib, talks a bit about the exterior and interior design of the BMW 4 Series Coupe.
Generally, photos enhanced in post-processing, such as many of those used in BMW’s official 4 Series release photos, look better than a relatively untouched photo. However, with the 4 Series, we dare say that it’s looking best in ‘natural’ photos so far, such as in these from a live studio photo shoot.
We have uploaded our BMW 4 Series Official Thread with even more materials – new wallpapers, new videos, and full technical specs for all models.
