Palbay caught this F12 M6 with the unique Individual Color, Frozen Grey Metallic. In fact this is the first M6 we’ve seen in this paint color, but surely not the last.

And here comes the new M6 convertible (F12)! This is our first site member to take delivery of a 2012 M6 convertible, and it’s a beauty. This is one of the first new M6 convertibles to be delivered in the world and it goes to someone who already has a history with them, upgrading from the predecessor E63 M6 convertible.

The 2013 BMW M6 Coupe (F13) (official info thread) has also made an appearance at the 2012 Auto China show in Beijing, in a stunning Brilliant White Metallic Individual exterior with Opal White Individual leather interior and Piano Black Gloss trim. It is said (per our NYIAS interview) to save approximately 10 pounds compared to a steel roof and more than that versus a sunroof. Compared to the F10 M5, the M6 coupe is a little more sporty in terms of handling by the design of the front and rear … CONTINUED

Site member hkyplaynazn was recently in Germany for european delivery and as part of the experience was given a tour of the BMW M Studio at M Headquarters in Garching, Germany. On this particular visit, hkyplaynazn was able to get a first look at an M6 convertible in Singapore Grey inside M Studio, as well as a beautiful Monte Carlo Blue M6 coupe test car parked on the facilities. The M6 coupe and convertible have already made their premieres at various auto shows but only in Sakhir Orange (for the … CONTINUED

The 2013 M6 coupe and 2012 M6 convertible have now made their world premieres and North American premieres, which brings us to the M6 Gran Coupe as the next M6 variant in the pipeline.

We’ve already seen plenty of the spy photos/videos of the M6 Gran Coupe, which together with the already revealed production 6-series Gran Coupe (photos 1, photos 2), gives us a very accurate idea of what the M6 Gran Coupe will look like. We previously posted some front and rear renders (reposted below) and we now present some side views.

The M6 Gran Coupe will wear the same front and rear end design as the M6 Coupe and Convertible, only with 2 more doors and a longer body. We’ve also included the sporty carbon fiber … CONTINUED

We had the chance to speak to BMW NA M Brand Manager Matt Russell and BMW M Marketing Director Thomas Schemera at the 2012 NYIAS about many things M. We covered some hot topics/models, including the M5, M6, M3 (current and future generation) and M Performance Automobiles.

It’s nothing major. It’s small things; it’s electronics underneath, little computer things. It’s definitely not customer-facing changes and not a great deal of functionality change.

How does the manual transmission affect the M5’s performance?

About 0.10 second 0-60mph difference (slower than DCT). We don’t have official EPA MPG estimates yet, but it’s not much. … CONTINUED
