An alpine white F10 M5 has now been delivered to a site member - Singularity. Although the owner and car are now experiencing some wintry weather, we nonetheless get some nice insight and review of another new M5.
There’s now been several deliveries in our M5 forums and more to come as we head towards the warmer weather of Spring and especially when US deliveries begin this Summer.
The 2011 Frankfurt IAA represents the F10 M5’s general public reveal and BMW has strutted out not just the typical Monte Carlo Blue launch color, but also in Moonstone (Individual color), and Alpine White. It felt like ///M heaven walking into the M area.
There was also a Monte Carlo Blue M5 being used to drive around the BMW track in the exhibit hall, as well as the F10 M5 Safety Car.
The Alpine White M5 was paired with a gorgeous Sakhir Orange interior with black piano trim, and optional enhanced seats. Each M5 featured blue brakes, which are standard
Also, to solve any confusion regarding the F10 M5’s steering, we confirmed that it is hydraulic steering.
The 2012 M5 (F10) will come in a fairly extensive choice of colors, including some beautiful individual exterior color options. One of the individual exterior color options is Brilliant White Metallic, which we’ve spotted hanging out at BMW M HQ in Garching, Germany.
Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.

We’ve put together a color preview guide for the F10 M5, which can be seen at http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=546540
The online visualizer for the F10 M5 has been online since Thursday, and the German F10 M5 Catalog is now available for download. Together they reveals the range of exterior and interior color options, as well as visual previews of the colors. We list them (and provide some examples) inside.
The exterior colors are as follows:
Monte Carlo Blue
Black Sapphire Metallic
BMW Individual exterior color options include:
Brilliant White Metallic
Frozen Gray Metallic
Frozen Silver Metallic
Citrine Black Metallic

We bring you the best photos yet of an Alpine White FEP F10 M5 testing on the streets of Germany. Although there’s never been any suspense as to which car we’ve been spying, the M5 badge has finally been affixed to the prototype, giving it a more final-form feel and signaling just how close we are to seeing the production version.
Not much camouflage remains on the prototype M5s. The front bumper and rear diffuser clearly will resemble the ones seen on the F10 M5 concept revealed last month, but the center section on the rear diffuser appears different than the concept version (larger photo below), taking on a … CONTINUED
