Originally I had planned to drive up the East Coast to the Vermont/New Hampshire area to do some leaf peeping and driving around the country back roads. According to the BMW Welt/Museum FB page, the very last 1 Series M Coupe has been delivered to Dietmar Götzmann at the BMW Welt recently. Götzmann (left) is the general manager partner of Uwe Ratzel GmbH & Co. KG (BMW Zentrum/dealership). It is unclear when Dietmar Götzmann had taken delivery of his 1M. But we believe it to be recently.
Top Gear HK (Hong Kong) pits the 320hp M135i versus the 340hp 1M Coupe in a drag race. The M135i puts in an impressive performance over the 150 meter race.

BMW M is now offering something for the first time ever – custom polo shirts for owners. Per BMW:
The BMW 1 Series M Coupé was only built 6309 times. This means that every owner is a member of a small, exclusive family – and in future these individuals will be able to recognise each other at events etc. more easily by wearing a special polo shirt.

Think there are a lot of 1 Series in Taiwan? If you didn’t, this should change your mind. This recent meet saw over sixty 1 Series in attendance, with twenty of them being 1M coupes, which would be impressive even in a big BMW market like the US or Germany.

UK 1M owners from 1ADDICTS had their largest owners meet yet yesterday at the Ace Cafe. Over 18 1Ms were in attendance, along with a 1M 123d replica and a 135i.
