Great review of a BMW 1M Coupe against a 997 GT3 RS 3.8 and GT3 RS 4.0.
Asymmetric warfare: A couple months back I had the privilege of testing three incredible machines: a 997 GT3 RS 3.8, an RS 4.0, and an RS 3.8 with the engine bored and stroked to 4.1 liters. My 1M came along for the ride as the camera car for a few days of amazing driving. While it’s unquestionably unfair to compare BMW’s cheapest M car to an RS 4.0, … CONTINUED
For the past two years some Euro 1Addicts have gone on a pilgrimage to Stelvio. Stelvio 1.0 and Stelvio 2.0 (you can click on my signature for those photo threads)
Some in our group have become a little bored with Stelvio plan so this year we want to tour another breath taking mountain range. But where? The BMW 1M coupe remains as desirable as ever, and perhaps even more so, as its current market value is even higher than the retail price when sold.
Of twenty 1M coupes currently on sale, by way of major used auto sales websites, they were listed at an average asking price of $61,670 with an average mileage of about 11,600 on the clock. That’s more than $15,500 over the MSRP when new!

Are the BMW 1M coupe and/or Mustang Boss 302 better drivers cars than the benchmark E90/E92 M3?
EverydayDriver takes a look at the 3 cars and gives their answer to this question.
According to the BMW Welt/Museum FB page, the very last 1 Series M Coupe has been delivered to Dietmar Götzmann at the BMW Welt recently. Götzmann (left) is the general manager partner of Uwe Ratzel GmbH & Co. KG (BMW Zentrum/dealership). It is unclear when Dietmar Götzmann had taken delivery of his 1M. But we believe it to be recently.
