Many of our 1M owners are taking advantage of BMW’s european delivery option and reporting back with great stories and gorgeous photos of their experience.

Member djafactor has just posted his euro delivery journal which takes us on his 8 days ED trip with his 1M and father as co-pilot. Along the way they meet a lead 1M engineer, hit the Geslar Pass, Innsbruck, through the South Tyrol mountains, drove Furka and San Bernadino Pass, and drove the Nurburgring. You can experience djafactor’s trip vicariously inside.

The AC Schnitzer 1M Coupe has debuted at the Frankfurt IAA. The ACS 1M tuning program includes aerodynamic, performance, and handling ugprades. The 1M’s power has been bumped up to 400hp (from 340hp) with an ECU software tune.

Cosmetic upgrades include a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, metal lower grille, vented hood, extra side fender gill, rear roof spoiler, carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler lip, and carbon fiber rear bumper diffuser.

The factory 1M exhaust has been replaced by a Schnitzer exhaust system with twin silencers. This past weekend saw the first US 1M coupe meet take place when a few Bay Area 1ADDICTS and M3POST members met up for a drive. Three 1Ms and two M3s were in attendance, making for an intimate group. They cruised while M3post member RadiantM3 snapped photos. We can expect to soon see larger and larger 1M meets as more US customers finally take delivery.

Eisenmann’s long-anticipated BMW 1M exhaust system has now been released and 1ADDICTS member biglare’s 1M is the first lucky 1M to make use of the Eisenmann Race downpipe back system. Shortly after landing in IND’s warehouse, the 1M exhaust prototype box made it’s way to San Diego, the exhaust system made it’s way out of the box and finally Eisenmann’s 83mm tips made their way under biglare’s 1M’s beautiful rear valence. Check out the first video clips and photos inside.

Beautiful set of Alpine White 1M coupe photos from one of our 1ADDICTS members from down under. This 1M features modifications which provide a nice contrast to the white exterior — gloss black wheels, black grilles, carbon fiber mirror covers, and carbon fiber performance spoiler.

The BMW 1M coupe will be a one model year run in most if not all markets, which means limited units will be around for all time. Good copies will get more and more rare as the natural elements take their toll, especially on those 1Ms parked outside. BMW is here to help with their outdoor car cover for the 1M, now released and available. Part # is 82 11 0 038 891. Stock is limited for now but a 1ADDICTS member has already sourced one and it looks like a great fit. Some photos are inside.

He capped off his european delivery adventure in grand and appropriate style by testing the merits of his new ride right where it was developed — on the Nurburgring track. Here’s 1ADDICTS member 1mGator’s 1M and european delivery story, documented well in his ED journal and photos. His story:

My love of BMW’s started in 1988 with the purchase of my E30 325ic. I loved that car and like many of you, I have had the pleasure of owning many of these wonderful cars through the years. In 2000, as a graduation present I gave my son the E30 and it served him well through 450,000 miles – he drives a 335i today and loves the brand. I am happy to have passed this obsession on to my family and we had the pleasure of doing a PCD delivery last October form my wife’s X5. Finally, after years of dreaming of ED the purchase of the … CONTINUED
