We bring you the first photos of 6-series convertible test cars in different colors and configurations. Previously, only a milano beige F13 6-series has been spotted, but we now see the stunning convertible in both silver (650i) and red color (640i). The silver 650i wears some beautiful wheels weve not yet seen, which transforms the whole look of the car (for the better), in our opinion.
Here is the BMW announced production schedule for the F12 / F13 6-series coupe and convertible.
March 2011 – 650cv
July 2011 – 650cp
September 2011 – 640cp/cv
September 2011 – 650xi cp/cv

Resident photoshopper extraordinaire, Gerald Alvarez, has put together this new rendering of the upcoming F12 6-series coupe based upon the newest F13 6-series convertible photos and the BMW Concept Gran Coupe (which was said to be an approximation of what the 2012 6-series coupe will resemble).
We bring you the first photos of the F13 6-series convertible confirming that the 2012 6-series convertible will indeed have a traditional folding soft top (but a factory fitted optional hardtop will be available). These 650 convertible photos are also the most revealing yet of the body, which loses its plastic camoflage cladding to reveal most of the production body. What’s being revealed slowly is a stunning looking BMW which retains the shape and sleekness of the previous 6-series cabrio, while losing some of its more criticized design.
The current BMW monthly production bulletin reveals some details on the new 6-series (F12/F13) and the upcoming X3. Production starts on the 650 convertible in March 2011 and 650 coupe in July 2011. Sept. will see a 6-cylinder 640 coupe and convertible and 650xi coupe and convertible. X3 production begins this December.
We bring you the first ever sighting of the upcoming F13 6-series convertible with its top down. The shape revealed with the top down is of a sleek and well proportioned convertible, not easily pulled off with a convertible of this size. What is not telling yet however, is whether the top is a folding hardtop or a traditional canvas top. The extra cut lines on the trunk may indicate a canvas top to some, but may simply be indicative of split trunk access (for when top is retracted).
Release dates and specifics are still up in the air, but its a sure bet that at least the engine line-up will be a replication of what is available on … CONTINUED
We bring you the worlds first video of the F12 6-series coupe in live action. Seeing the test mule in a natural environment among other cars puts into focus the sleekness and well-proportioned design of the F12 so far.
This 6-series coupe test mule was spotted again recently in Munich. The very first 6-series coupe test mule was spotted and photographed just this past week. This test mule still wears heavy camouflage panels and paint, but its overall proportions and shape can still be appreciated. The new 6-series coupe is due to launch in 2011.
Resident photoshopper Gerald Alvarez has now put his imagination and photoshop skills to work on the next 6-series convertible (F13), based on our recent spy photos of the F12 6-series coupe and F13 6-series convertible.
We bring you the most revealing photos yet of the next generation 6-series convertible (F13). Compared to the previous sightings, the car seen here reveals more details. For the first time we are seeing the front kidney grill outlines and outlines of the headlights and tail lights.
The F13 6-series will be a folding hardtop convertible (the cloth covering the hardtop is a decoy) and is expected to debut late this year for a possible premiere at the Geneva Autoshow in March 2011.
