The official starting base price (MSRP) for Canadian F30 models has now been announced. The 320i sedan will start at $35,900, the 328i sedan starts at $43,600, and the 335i starts at $51,200.
Seen here, at the Brussels auto show is the first sight of the F30 3 series M Sport looking great with the optional Style 403M 19″ wheels and the blue M sport brakes that we’ve been mentioning. As we just posted about, it hasn’t yet been decided whether the blue M Sport brakes will be a part of the M Sport Package or optional.

Now that the F30 3 series has been officially introduced to the world at the 2012 Detroit NAIAS, expect a lot more public sightings. Spotted just this morning in Toronto were three F30 3 series – a black 335i Sport Line model on the back of a trailer and a Melbourne Red and Havana Metallic F30 at the BMW Canada HQ in Richmond Hill.

For BMW, the BMW 3 Series is the focus of attention at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series Sedan is world’s best-selling premium car. Have a look at the wide range and the different lines, together with BMW Group Chief Designer Adrian van Hooydonk.
We haven’t seen the long wheelbase F30 since our most recent spy photos from last July, but it’s now been revealed in China. Seen here is a 335Li, which will be manufactured in China for sale only in China (like all new F30s for the Chinese market) and provides for more spacious backseat area with more legroom. The BMW 3-series Li will debut at the Beijing Autoshow in April 2012.
Here’s some great news for the 3 series touring fans in the US – the US market will receive the F31 3 series touring! BMW’s decision to bring the 5 Series GT to the US and nip the F11 5 series touring in return had us all a bit worried whether the 3 series touring to be unveiled later this year would share a similar fate.

From a dealer presentation event for BMW Performance Parts come the first views of the BMW Performance parts for the F30 3 series. Both the M Sport and non-M Sport accessories are seen here.
Parts we can see include carbon fiber splitters, carbon fiber front lip, gloss kidney grilles, 19″ wheels, performance racing stripes, and painted rear bumper diffuser.
On the standard F30, you can see the BMW Performance sideskirts and gloss black wheels with red pinstripes.

Here’s another highlight of the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the Active Hybrid 3.
Seen here in Modern Line configuration, the Active Hybrid 3 combines BMW’s smooth 3.0l N55 inline 6 and an electric motor for a maximun output of 335hp and 450Nm. It does 0-62kph in less than 5.9 seconds and returns 37 miles to the gallon. To further improve mpg there’s also an intelligent navigation system to optimize your routes for a hybrid.
