Congratulations to our first F30 owner! F30POST member Victor has just announced and posted photos of his brand spanking new F30 328i Sport Line in mineral grey (which he’s actually had since February 1).
Plenty of F30 models are now hitting dealers across the country (and worldwide), so be sure to drop in on your local dealer to see the F30 in person. And follow F30POST for plenty of delivery announcements as the official market launch comes this weekend!
Here is perhaps the best official F30 3 series video we’ve seen yet from BMW. The various model lines (Imperial Blue Metallic Luxury Line, Melbourne Red Sport Line, and Mineral Grey Modern Line) look great in motion. Be sure to check out the video directly below.

Six new commercials have been released by BMW for the 2012 F30 3 Series sedan. The ads use humor to showcase some of the F30′s technologies – heated steering wheel, email voice dictation, handless automatic trunk opening, memory seats, side view cameras, and keyless entry.
We’ve compiled a video showing how the sounds of the 2012 328i (with N20 engine) and 2012 335i (with N55 engine) compare. Below are some clips showing the F30 328i and 335i at speed and WOT on the Laguna Seca track’s back straight section, as well as engine and exhaust sounds throughout the rev range.
So, how do you properly test the performance of the new 2012 3 series F30 sedan? You take it out on a race track like Laguna Seca, as we did earlier this week.
But, if you really want to see the true limits of the F30′s performance, you hand it over to the professionals. BMW ALMS driver Bill Auberlen and ALMS+DTM driver Joey Hand were in attendance at Laguna Seca raceway to give us (and our members/readers) a wild ride around the track in both the F30 … CONTINUED

And here are the photos of the various Luxury Line F30 models shown at the F30 US Press Launch. There was a Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral Grey Metallic, Imperial Blue Metallic, and Havana Metallic.
The most prevalent model brought out by BMW NA to the US Press Launch is the Sport Line model (in both 328i and 335i forms), which makes sense considering that half the event consists of a track day at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Here are photos of an Alpine White, Glacier Silver, and Melbourne Red sport line models. For a comparison of the different F30 lines, see our F30 Lines Guide.
BMW NA has brought out F30 models in all the lines (Sport, Modern, and Luxury) at the US press launch event. Here is the F30 modern line in Imperial Blue Metallic and Blue Water Metallic (Activehybrid). For a comparison of the different F30 lines, see our F30 Lines Guide.
Also on hand was the F30 M Sport which enters production in July, for September deliveries. We’ve compiled all the available F30 M Sport data so far at our F30 M Sport Guide.

Our review will come a bit later, but we had a blast in the F30 335i. Enjoy the photos of our red 335i Sport Line, an Imperial … CONTINUED
