Hamann showcases its F10 M5 Mi5Sion at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, or what we think might be an M5

To say it’s a radical looking kit for the M5 would be an understatement. The Mi5Sion M5 receives widebody fenders that have added 30mm on each side. It has custom front and rear bumpers, carbon fiber trunk spoiler, door handles, and rear diffuser.

The interior features a contrasting black-white theme, with Alpine White and black leather seats to match the exterior and white trims throughout to continue … CONTINUED

In terms of M cars at the 2013 Geneva show, BMW has brought out two M6 models – a Frozen Silverstone M6 Gran Coupe and a San Marino Blue M6 Convertible.

Unfortunately, there has been no sign of the F80 M3 concept, which many speculated may be making its debut here at the show. We’ve reported in the past that we believe (and still do) that the F80 M3 concept will instead bow in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The 560 hp M6 Gran Coupe was … CONTINUED

M3POST member koop shares with us his journal from his BMW Individual M3 re-delivery at the PCD. From koop:

As some of you may remember, I was fortunate enough to take European Delivery of my Individual Azurite/Rust Brown E92 M3 in Munich last December. It was an awesome experience! (The original thread is here).

After a forever-taking 10-week wait, my M3 and I were finally reunited at the Performance Center in South Carolina last week. The experience was just as fantastic as Munich, but in an … CONTINUED

It’s been a while since the last spotting of the F82 M4 Coupe, but it’s been worth the wait this sighting as the prototype has now lost some camouflage, revealing much more!

So, what revealing things do we see in this new sighting?

• Double slatted kidney grilles.
• LED headlights
• LED tail lights
• Sculpted double-bubble carbon fiber roof (a la M6 Coupe)
• Production side mirrors (but still under camouflage)
• Integrated trunk spoiler
• Deliciously wide rear stance

What about the F82 M4 mechanicals? If you recall, we recently reported … CONTINUED

A recent unfortunate crash of an E92 M3 coupe on the Nurburgring Nordschleife was caught in on-board video.

The modified M3 (eibach springs, akrapovic exhaust and brembo brakes) lost traction and went off track when negotiating. the Whipperman turn on the wet track.

The M3 was eventually fixed and sold, and the former M3 owner now carves the Ring in a BMW HP4.

M5POST member RPiM5 shares with us his direct experience after six months of F10 M5 ownership, compared to his time with the E60 M5 (his car prior to the F10 M5).

by RPiM5:

Best things about the E60 M5:
1. S85 V10 engine! (with aftermarket exhaust, there’s almost no equal to the exhaust note. This is even more true if you do aftermarket headers!)
2. Smaller size of E60
3. Lighter weight of E60
4. SMG Transmission (Almost no other transmission can rattle the fillings out of … CONTINUED
