The F10 5 Series and F10 M5 LCI refresh models are coming soon, but spy photos have shown the external styling updates will be understated, with tweaks to the upper front fascia and headlight updates (sleeker looking and with optional full LED squared-off headlights), but the M5 will receive no changes to the lower front bumper design. Like the 5 Series, the F10 M5 will also receive light updates to its tail lights and lower rear bumper.

As for the interior, the most recent 5 Series LCI spy photos show that it will be offered with the new iDrive touch system. The M5 LCI will receive the M6 steering wheel as standard.

With these changes in mind, we’ve mocked up a preview render look at the F10 … CONTINUED

Leib Engineering releases its BMW M3 GT 500 featuring performance and cosmetic upgrades.

Power on the S65 V8 has been increased to 470 HP via software tune, stainless steel exhaust system, X pipe, 100-cell HJS cat, and muffler with vaccum controlled Pierburg valves.

To stop the M3 from all this extra power, Brembo brakes replace the factory brakes (4 piston 380×32mm discs front / 2 piston 320×28mm discs rear).

As for the looks to match the performance, the M3 GT 500 features M Performance carbon fiber front splitters, carbon fiber mirror covers, and carbon fiber trunk spoiler. The lower rear bumper and parts of the front bumper have also been painted in black to give a sportier look.

The interior features an M Performance steering wheel with digital race … CONTINUED

Now that the 4 Series Coupe (F32) has been revealed [photos], we thought we’d take another crack at imagining and predicting the look of the 2015 M4 Coupe (F82), while adding some track aero parts, for fun.

With the latest F82 M4 prototype sighting (gallery below), we have seen the following:

• Double slatted kidney grilles
• M4 badge on kidney grilles (a la M6) (currently covered)
• LED headlights
• LED tail lights
• Carbon ceramic brakes (optional) being tested in signature gold color (just as on F80 M3 prototype)

As expected, the 2014 F10 M5 will be receiving a LCI update/facelift together with the F10 5 Series. The 5 Series LCI facelift has already been partially revealed, but it’s been unknown how much of the M5’s design would be affected.

These spy photos show that the F10 M5 will receive the same upper front fascia and headlight updates [pics] as the 5 Series, but will receive no changes to the lower front bumper design. Like the 5 Series, the F10 M5 will also receive light updates to its tail lights and lower rear bumper.

The 5 Series LCI will receive tweaks to its steering, but it’s not yet known if the F10 M5 will be affected by this, or receive any other mechanical updates.
