The all new 2012 BMW M6 coupe (official info thread) is the star of the BMW display at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow, based on our affinity for the car and how swarmed the car was. It’s no wonder given the M6′s hard-to-miss Sakhir Orange color, sculpted carbon fiber roof, and very aggressive bodywork.

The new 2013 BMW coupe (F13) and convertible (F12) have been priced for the German market.
The M6 coupe will start at EUR 123,600 and the convertible at EUR 131,000.
To give other markets an idea of how much the M6 may be priced, the M6 coupe’s German starting price is 20% higher than the F10 M5, which starts at EUR 102,800.

The colors to be made available will be Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Havanna, Silverstone, Space Grey, Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect, Singapore Grey, Sakhir Orange, and San Marino Blue.
Wheels choices are 19″ Style 344M and 20″ Style 343M wheels.

The M Carbon Ceramic Brakes have bigger rotors at the front axle (410mm vs 400mm standard), reduce the unsprung weight by 19.4 kg or 42.8 lb, and obviously increase fade resistance. The 2013 M6 convertible (F12) has been spotted completely revealed for the first time! Spotted at the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal in New Jersey was this beautiful blue M6 convertible.
It shows all the traditional and newest M signature parts such as big blue brakes (a la F10 M5), M side skirts, M rear bumper and diffuser, M style wheels, M quad exhausts, cross drilled rotors, M side gill, and an M front bumper which cannot be seen in these photos.

Last week we spied the exposed BMW M6 coupe’s front end M styled bumper. Working off those images, we’ve produced a render which reveals what the M6 coupe should resemble when all the camouflage comes off. Look for an M6 coupe reveal sometime later this year/early next year.
We have just spied a 2012 M6 coupe bearing its and rear end designs clearly on the streets of Munich for the first time. We recently had a brief look at the M6′s bumper styling when it first appeared uncovered while testing (and crashing unfortunately) on the Nurburgring.

The 2012 BMW M6 has dropped some camouflage, revealing much of its front and rear bumper/diffuser styling for the first time. The front bumper appears to be a bit more aggressive than the F10 M5′s front bumper, with larger and more prominent ‘fins’ coming out/down from the bumper. The rear diffuser also features some aggressive styling, with prominent fins in the rear as well. The M6 coupe may also be featuring a carbon fiber roof, as the roof’s camouflage still remains.
