As our newest photos show, the 2 Series Coupe (F22) sure has grown up from the current 1 Series Coupe (E82). The 3.1 inch gain in overall length and 1.2 inch longer wheelbase (see dimension/specs comparisons) appears to come mostly in the front, elongating the front end and giving the F22 a sleeker look overall. Adding to this effect is the less bulbous greenhouse which features a more raked window and a rear roofline that has been elongated and joins the trunk on a more … CONTINUED
The previous set of 4 Series Gran Coupe photos may have given us our first look at the M Sport package equipped model, but our new photos give us the best look yet, and in Estoril Blue II, which has proved to be the most popular 4 Series color among our members yet (see color poll).
The Gran Coupe variant (F36) of the 4 Series effectively shares the same exterior styling as the Coupe, but with an elongated roofline and an extra pair of doors. The … CONTINUED
Now that the BMW M235i specs have been revealed, we take a look at how they compare on paper to the M135i hatchback, 435i coupe, 135is and E46 M3. All in all, its specs are very encouraging for those of us clamoring for a return of a E46-type sports coupe/sedan.
Here they are – official BMW M235i and 2 Series specs!
See the details inside.
The first M Sport 4 Series Gran Coupe has been spotted and there’s no surprises here as its M Sport aero parts are the same as those of the 4 Series Coupe.
Photos from the latest sighting of the 4 Series Gran Coupe.
Now that the 4 Series Coupe has been revealed and the Convertible nears its debut, the next model in the lineup – the 4 Series Gran Coupe (F36), has re-emerged in testing, after a nearly 6 month hiatus since our last spotting. It has re-emerged with Eric Bana doing the testing and with less camouflage than ever – shedding the heavy camouflage from its front and rear (that’s not really Eric Bana).
What’s revealed is what … CONTINUED
The long rumored 2 Series Gran Coupe has yet to be spotted in testing, but we’d be highly surprised if BMW did not go after the CLA and A3 sedan with its own small sports sedan. The company is seemingly entering all niches in which its German competitors have offerings, even niches with much smaller sales potential than the small sedan space, so we expect to see a 2 Series “Gran Coupe” sedan after the Coupe and Convertible 2 Series are released. Artist Theophilus Chin … CONTINUED
We have added a video of a black F80 M3 sedan advanced prototype out on the highway.
The F82 M4 coupe and F83 M4 convertible continue testing and we continue sharing pics with you.
Once it’s fully revealed, we will see an M4 convertible which shares the M4 coupe’s styling (and mechanicals), save for the roofline and trunkline. To give you an idea for how the M4 convertible will look once all the camo comes off, check out our production M4 renders below.
The one clear difference is that the M4 convertible features a different roof — in the form of a non-carbon fiber … CONTINUED
We recently showed you an advanced F80 M3 prototype in what looked like Singapore Gray Metallic (reposted below). Now see the latest prototypes in black and Silverstone.
Once again, we’re treated to some great looks the F80 M3′s massive fenders. The F80 M3 shares virtually the same styling as the M4 except for the more prominently flared fenders and a different trunk design (no CSL style curve). The two share the same front front fascia and headlights, rear bumpers, sideskirts, hood bump, exhaust design, double-bubble carbon … CONTINUED
