The latest F80 M3 spotting gives us the best look yet at its newest revealed features — double slat kidney grilles and a double-bubble carbon fiber roof.
Both the F80 M3 and F82 M4 will continue BMW’s latest trend to fit M models with double slat kidney grilles with a model badge affixed. The M6 and M5 LCI all feature this design.
And multiple M3 prototypes have now been spied with a camouflaged top, indicating a carbon fiber roof – first in the U.S. and now in … CONTINUED
More looks at the BMW F82 M4 Coupe testing at the Nurburgring.

The F80 M3 has been spotted with a camouflaged roof. How is this significant? Well, its brother, the F82 M4 Coupe has often been spotted with a camouflaged roof (as well as an optional top with moonroof), which typically indicates the presence of a carbon fiber roof, but the F80 M3 Sedan has never been seen with a camouflaged top, until now.
This F80 M3 prototype was spotted by a BIMMERPOST member while it undergoes hot weather testing in Las Vegas (where it recently hit 117F … CONTINUED

Edmunds shares their first drive review of the 2014 5 Series and gives their take on this:
The 5′s chassis has also seen a light rethink in the form of retuned dampers for improved comfort, quietness and reduced roll, besides some fresh mapping of the electric power steering to sharpen its precision.
These dynamic upgrades are subtly … CONTINUED
An interactive 3D modeler of the M235i Coupe is now available at Humster3D. This digitally modeled version is based off the revealing spy photos of the M235i we posted last month.
Generally speaking, it does a decent job at previewing the M235i, although it does have to make some predictions as to the rear view and tail lights, which remain partially covered in the spy photos. Its surfacing is also too flat in some areas, as the actual M235i’s hood and front fascia have more shape … CONTINUED
We’ve spotted the BMW M235i Coupe again and although it remains in the previous stage of camouflage (you’ve seen it revealed in the photos below anyway), this is our first ever look at the 2 Series Coupe versus its older brother to be, the 4 Series Coupe.
Next to the 435i, the M235i appears to be a bit taller. But, it’s clearly narrower and cuts a squatter figure than the sleeker and more stretched 435i coupe. Remember too, that the 2 Series prototype still wears some … CONTINUED

The 228i coupe will join the M235i coupe as the first two 2 Series models available in the US. Both models will begin production in November 2013, as a 2014 model year.
The following spy photos of the M235i shows you what to expect underneath the camouflage in terms of the car’s sides and the front end – with a different front bumper design of course.

The reveal of the all new 2014 BMW X5 (F15) is imminent, but testing continues on the F15 X5 M.
Testing on the F15 X5 M began last year [first sighting], but current mules have now dropped much camouflage. What’s revealed are the expected signature M components – huge front air intakes, aggressive sideskirts and rear diffuser, blue M brakes, and cross drilled rotors (the first for any X5 model). We also get a better look at the quad exhaust pipes which, unlike the current X5 … CONTINUED
We have uploaded the 2014 BMW 5 Series (LCI Facelift) catalog (German version), as well as a full detailed guide to the 2014 F10 LCI model.
A BMW 2 series prototype crashed on the German Autobahn yesterday evening. According to the article, the driver lost control of his car at high speed, clipping 50m of the beam barrier on the right hand side of the road and came to a rest after another 150m in the left hand lane. Furthermore, 4 other cars on the other side were hit by debris. Luckily the driver sustained only minor injuries and no one else was hurt.
Latest footage of the 2014 BMW M3 (F80) from track testing at the Nurburgring.
BIMMERPOST member swamp2, an engineer, updates his F80 M3 / F82 M4 performance simulations and predictions, based on the latest info, rumors, and speculations.
The result predicts an even faster M3/M4 than he previously simulated!
Two F15 X5s were just spotted during transportation in a cargo plane and while their exteriors remain camouflaged (previously revealed exterior photos below), we get some nice clear looks at their interiors.
As seen in previous spy shots, the F15 X5′s features a multi-layered dashboard design look and is both more driver-centric and upright compared to the current X5′s dashboard.
You can see the black panel display gauges, large free-standing navigation/infotainment LCD screen and new iDrive Touch system.
The US will receive the following models in the first … CONTINUED
Nearly a month ago, we spotted the first non-black F82 M4 coupe prototype (in Silverstone) on the road (reposted below). We’ve just spied a Silverstone F82 M4 testing on the Nurburgring, wearing M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. This prototype doesn’t reveal any new physical details, but we do have a new technical detail to share.
We were recently told by a high-ranking BMW M official intimately familiar with M3/M4 development that the engine powering the M3/M4 will feature a nearly 8000 RPM redline. As we’ve reported all … CONTINUED
New videos featuring the new 2014 BMW 5 Series LCI facelift model – sedan, touring and GT models (exterior, interior and driving footage).
Yes, a comparison of the M235i against a 435i M Sport or potential M435i would be a more appropriate comparison, but there are no revealed photos of the 435i M Sport (and no photos of a potential M435i). This is just to provide our members with a comparison of the 2 Series vs 4 Series’ general shapes and looks.
The angles on the spy photos also don’t match up exactly, but we will post another visual comparison once we have official photos for both models.
