Inside is an updated summary and insight into BMW’s Project-i sustained mobility project/thinktank, now and into the future. In addition to the production VED (i8) and all-electric Megacity Vehicle, Project-i will spawn a range of 2 to 4 wheel concepts.
Here is the Vision ED with a new coat of paint, this time in a beautiful gray finish that shimmers in natural sunlight, giving the car a more production ready look. Otherwise, true to their word, this car visually seems to be relatively unchanged from the original concept car.

Insideline has posted its first ride impressions of the BMW Vision EfficientyDynamics hybrid concept, saying that it is destined to be a BMW halo car and that it’s set to blow customers away.
The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Concept car is currently on display at the BMW of San Francisco dealership. No confirmation yet as to why the VED Concept is at the dealer, but here are plenty of photos of the concept car, with some great close-up details.
Insideline claims that a senior BMW authority in Munich has confirmed that the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics hybrid concept car is headed for production! Volume is expected to be between 5,000 and 10,000 units and the powertrain (356hp / 590lb-ft tq) and the less than 3,000 pound weight will be retrained. More details inside.
