In one of the only reviews so far of the Z4 sDrive35iS, Autocar asks the question whether this beefed up E89 Z4 is hardened enough over the standard sDrive35i. They came to the conclusion that this car does indeed reaffirm BMW’s commitment to the enthusiast driver.
The BMW X1 has made the 2010 World Car of the Year (WCOTY) Award finalist list and the BMW Z4 has made the 2010 Performance Car of the Year (PCOTY) Award finalist list. 31 cars were originally nominated for the WCOTY award and 15 cars for the PCOTY award. The E89 Z4 is now testing at the ring with its Msport body (or performance aero kit) ! This is potentially the 3.5iM, a slightly uprated power version of the standard 3.5i.
