A lucky customer attending Goodwood Festival of Speed over the weekend had a chance to test drive the F10 B5 Bi-Turbo around a track. Check out the walkaround and some of the furious acceleration from this 500+hp / 700tq monster F10. You can actually hear the rear passenger exclaim in delight during acceleration.
The German Red Cross recently introduced its F10 525d for “Emergency Doctors.” We are not sure if this car is a one-off for promotional purposes only, or if the F10 5-series will actually be put into widespread duty for the German Red Cross. If the latter, we are jealous of German Red Cross doctors!

Modifications include lowering springs, blackout grills, CF trunk lid spoiler, aftermarket wheels, painted reflectors and vinyl trim, and tint. Check out the photos inside!

5POST member HossNY provides a 1500 mile report update on his 535i, from performance, to comfort/convenience, to safety and looks. Check out the thoughts and impressions from an actual 5-series owner inside.
We generally frown upon street racing, but once in a while even we can’t help but be impressed by a certain video. This one features a stock F10 550i easily taking a modified Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 from a dig. SRT8′s are no slouches, especially in acceleration, so this speaks volumes for the 550i V8 4.4L Twin Turbo engine.
The popularity of the of the 2011 5-series is very apparent so far. BMW AG has sold out of all current 5-series stock in all markets and new customers are waiting 3-4 months for deliveries. This report by BMW is supported by Yahoo Auto’s recent analysis of the hardest cars to get a hold of in the U.S.
The 2011 528i Sedan has now joined the 535i and 550i on BMWUSA’s website, and is available for online configuration. The 528i starts at $44,550 MSRP and is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder 240hp / 230 lb-ft torque motor. Check out BMWUSA.com.
Bimmerpost member SkipSauls provides a great review (and photos) of the 2011 535i against the new X5 and the N54 335i. His perspective from being a long term 335i owner should provides some nice insight for those of you coming from the E90/E92 335i or another N54 based car.
