Sure, we’ve already seen the F10 LCI basically revealed (at least for the front end updates), but this is the first look we get at the M Sport LCI model as well as the LCI interior.
The interior shows the new iDrive touch system and new M Sport steering wheel, which resembles the F30 3 Series M Sport steering wheel.
The exterior doesn’t show much changes to the M Sport bumper except perhaps a new foglight housing. This prototype also features a trunk spoiler (as standard?).
As we’ve mentioned previously, mechanical changes will include updated steering and the N63Tu engine (445hp / 480 lb-ft) for the 550i. Production for the F10 LCI begins this July, with deliveries starting in August/September.
The first uncovered F10 5 Series LCI facelift/update was spotted last week, but it was captured in some less than ideal quality photos. Our new spy photos, taken at an official BMW photoshoot, give us a clear look at the F10 LCI’s front fascia. What’s confirmed once again is that the styling updates are rather minor.
Overall, the F10 LCI styling changes give the 5 Series a more updated and sportier look. These photos look to be the first photos of the F10 5 Series LCI facelift/update fully revealed.
The styling updates are minor as you can see - a restyled bumper with front air curtains, optional LED adaptive headlights. Mechanically, the F10 LCI will received reworked steering, and the 550i will come with the new and more powerful N63Tu engine.
This model potentially points to the introduction of the separate “Lines” packages for the 5 series, with this one appearing to be the Luxury Line.

We’ve spied the upcoming LCI facelift updated 5 Series again, and the sighting comes on the first Plug-in Hybrid 5 Series we’ve spotted. The LCI update will facelift the entire 5 Series lineup, including the F10 sedan, F11 touring, F07 GT, and the F10 M5, although the styling updates do not look to be too drastic.
EXTERIOR
The F10 LCI prototypes spotted thus far have shown slightly sportier side mirrors, with integrated turn signals (still camouflaged on previous prototypes seen). Some LCI prototypes have been spotted with a new optional LED headlights option with squared off angel eyes/corona rings. The standard xenon lights (as spotted on this prototype) will retain circular angel eyes. The tail light graphics will receive a new look.

The F11 Touring LCI facelift has now been spotted. This particular prototype is equipped with the xenon headlight option which retains the circular angel eyes/corona rings. The LED headlight option (previously spotted on the gray F10 5 Series sedan prototype) will feature the new squared off angel eyes.
We have information which shows production for the F10 LCI as beginning in July 2013, with deliveries starting in August/September of 2013.
