The BMW Performance Driving School Team (Steve Maguire) updates us on the results of the F10 M5’s performance in days 3-5 of the One Lap of America Race. The M5 is now in 13th position overall (very good for a stock car) after days 3-5. Check out the updates inside.

An M5POST owner recently took delivery of his Singapore Grey M5 F10 with Sakhir Orange interior. He shares with us some owner’s impressions as well as a beautiful set of wallpaper quality photos.

Photos and pricing has now been released of the F10 M5 M Performance Edition special “Frozen” models. From the photos, you can see M Performance black kidney grilles and side gills trim, as well as an alcantara steering wheel and contrast stitching throughout the interior (blue stitching for Frozen Blue, white stitching for Frozen White, and orange/red stitching for Frozen Red). The dash trim is inscribed with a “Number X of 30 M Performance Edition”. We also hope the full M Performance Parts catalog will also include upgrades for suspension, brakes, and more exterior and interior dress-up parts.

Along with the M3 M Performance Edition models, BMW has also released this video teaser for the new limited BMW M5 M Performance Edition models for the UK. The centerpiece of each M5 M Performance Edition model is the Frozen (matte) paint, which will include Frozen Blue, Frozen Red, and Frozen White. Only ten units of each color will be produced, for a total of just 30 cars.

BMW recently launched the M Performance Parts catalog for the F20 1 series, F30 3 series, and F10 5 series, but has yet to announce its full M Performance catalog for M cars. The order and pricing guides for the U.S. 2013 M6 Coupe (F13) and 2012 M6 Convertible (F12) are in! They include information on all standard equipment, options, packages, and related pricing.

The 2013 M6 coupe begins production in July, for September delivery. The 2012 M6 convertible began production in March and have already begun deliveries in Europe (it will hit US showroom floors in June).

Including destination and handling, BMW M6 Coupe and BMW M6 Convertible will carry a MSRP of $106,995 and $113,995, respectively.

The 2012 One Lap of America race kicked off this past weekend and the BMW Performance Driving School Team (Steve Maguire) is reporting in daily to provide live updates of the car and team’s progress.

Days 1 and 2 have passed and the M5 has already been on the wet skid pad, South Bend Motor Speedway, Autobahn Country Club, and the Mid-America Motorplex Mile Circuit. Check out Steve’s journal inside for how the M5 fared and to follow all daily updates for the rest of the race.

The M6 Gran Coupe opened the Nurburgring testing season in March and we’ve now caught it on video, giving you a good idea how just how well it tackles the track. That such a large car can perform like this on a challenging track is an impressive sight.

As the M6 Gran Coupe will utilize the same S63Tu engine as the F10 M5 (although the M6 Gran Coupe may be introduced with a slightly uprated power figure from the M5’s 560hp), it’s seen testing with and benchmarked against several M5s in the video, including the M5 Ring Taxis.
