Check out the dyno results from the EAS Dyno Day this past weekend. 22 BMWs (mostly M3s) showed up throughout the day to put their engines to the test on a Dynoject 224xLC. The day started at 8:00 with the temperature already in the low 80′s, and ended at about 5:30 in the high 90′s! Regardless of the California heat, the cars performed well and everyone seemed to enjoy the show, food and the friendly competition.

Velos Designwerks video announcing their F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6 Stage 1 Performance Software Tune (for the S63Tu engine). Initial power gain estimates for the Stage 1 tune is roughly 73 hp and 80 lb ft of torque.
The 2013 F10 M5 with its 4.4L V8 S63Tu turbo engine has previously been shown to be underrated from the factory, which is BMW’s habit with its official quote power figures.
The latest results showing this come from iND who have just begun performance testing on their F10 M5. The result was 527 RWHP (rear wheel horsepower) on a totally stock F10 M5 running on pump gas and dyno’d on a dynojet. This represents just a 6% drivetrain loss.

Some updated F82 M4 coupe renders from Jerry Alvarez. The white M4 coupe render now incorporates the M6/1M styled front bumper with air curtain vents recently spied on the F80 M3 sedan. Not reflected in the renders however, is an expected sleeker front fascia and headlights (compared to the F30 3 series). The F82 M4 coupe is also expected to feature a carbon fiber roof.
The F80 M3 / F82 M4 will not be constructed extensively from carbon fiber (CFRP) as some earlier reports had speculated. … CONTINUED

In case you missed it in the large photo set from our first F10 M5 european delivery day thread, here are the first looks at a one-off F10 M5 Polizei car by BMW.
Based on the US spec F10 M5, this M5 police car is a show car only and not intended for actual police use. It will be on display at the Welt until Thursday.
BMW does make several models available for the police (including 3 series, 5 series and X5), as well as security vehicles.

Saturday, September 1 marked the first BMW european delivery date for the 2013 M5 (F10) and it was an epic one. We can’t recall another more anticipated european delivery date for a single model than this.
24 F10 M5s were delivered on Saturday – 22 of them to M5POST members (list), totaling 13,000+ horsepowers And that’s just in one day! The rest of the week and beyond will see more and more lucky owners meeting their new M5s for the first time.
