Motortrend gets its hand on the F10 M5 for an in depth evaluation and performance testing. They achieved an impressive 3.7sec 0-60mph and 11.9sec quarter mile (@ 120.3mph).
Along the way they call the F10 M5 probably the best M5 ever, from driver feedback to all-out performance. We see their complaint about the large gap between comfort and sport mode as a positive as it means that the new M5′s range and effectiveness while wearing its many hats is better than ever.

We now have our first Singapore Grey F10 M5 delivery! The car went to lucky M5POST member Aussie F10M. As with all our other new M5 owners so far, he’s hardly able to contain his gushing, but that seems to be the trend with most everyone who experiences the 2012 BMW M5.

It seems that the 2012 M5 (F10) increasingly needs to look to full out sports cars in order to find the appropriate competition. Multiple outlets have already compared it against the Nissan GT-R and now Autoweek pits the F10 M5 against the Jaguary XKR-S in a showdown of two cars which possess both gentlemanlike and hooligan traits.
An alpine white F10 M5 has now been delivered to a site member – Singularity. Although the owner and car are now experiencing some wintry weather, we nonetheless get some nice insight and review of another new M5.

Well respected automotive reviewer Chris Harris drives the F10 M5 and the Nissan GT-R. He admits that the two are not really rival cars, but what’s important is that the two are both great cars he enjoyed immensely (just look at his reaction), and in which he appreciated every mile and every minute.

European Car reviews the new BMW M5 F10, which they call BMW’s twin turbo superhero. Their conclusion? The new M5 is every bit as tractable as the E60 M5 and its chassis and brakes are flat out superior. Unlike the E60 M5, the new M5 is more user friendly.
Congratulations to our member clar for taking delivery of the first frozen grey F10 M5! This isn’t clar’s first frozen gray M car though as the M5 will join his frozen grey M3! German magazine Autozeitung has pitted the new BMW M5 (F10) against its bigger cousin. The F10 M5 is powered the S63Tu, an improved version of the BMW X6M’s S63 engine. Given the S63Tu’s enhancements over the S63 and the F10 M5′s lighter weight, the M5 winning in all categories and placing in 1st is certainly not surprising.
What is interesting however is to see more real world F10 M5 performance test results.

Ben Barry at CAR magazine was apparently on Santa’s good-boys list as he’s currently driving a F10 M5 long term tester.
