The 2011 Frankfurt IAA represents the F10 M5′s general public reveal and BMW has strutted out not just the typical Monte Carlo Blue launch color, but also in Moonstone (Individual color), and Alpine White. It felt like ///M heaven walking into the M area.
There was also a Monte Carlo Blue M5 being used to drive around the BMW track in the exhibit hall, as well as the F10 M5 Safety Car.

Well, this looks like fun. We’ve reported about the six lucky guys who were invited to the F10 M5 Fly and Drive event earlier this month (one of them was 5POST member benz61). M-Power.com has just published a new video starring the new M5, Claudia Huertgen, a German race car driver, and some happy passengers. This video includes some nice drifts and thus obviously doesn’t reflect the fastest possible time for the car.

The 2012 M5 (F10) will come in a fairly extensive choice of colors, including some beautiful individual exterior color options. One of the individual exterior color options is Brilliant White Metallic, which we’ve spotted hanging out at BMW M HQ in Garching, Germany.
Besides the individual brilliant white metallic exterior paint, the this M5 also has other individual options, such as the black painted mirrors and wheels. The red leather interior looks great set off against the white and black exterior color scheme.

Attendees at the M Driving Experience at the Salzburg Ring were lucky enough to witness in person two of BMW M’s newest creations – the BMW F10 M5 and the limited edition lightweight M3 CRT. The 2012 BMW M5 made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which is taking place this week in the UK. Along with the F10 M5 was the 1M coupe on display, as well as a bevy of other BMWs and other generally cool cars.
The german language catalogue for the new M5 was made available shortly after the internet launch of the M5, and now here is the English language version we are hosting for download. This catalog has all the info you want coupled with beautiful imagery of the M5.
