On July 21, 2012 the M Owners Club of Indonesia (MOCI) had their monthly event in Bandung, attended by 20+ M cars - ranging from 1Ms, M3s, E60 & F10 M5s, and M6. Seen at the event were many updates to members’ cars like a CRT front lip on the frozen gray M3, a couple done up 1Ms, and a 12″ ADV.1 on E90 M3. Looking forward for the next event! Although it’s a powerful beast, it’s clear that a stock F10 M5 is no match for the Ferrari 458 on the track. But, how about a tuned M5 with 640hp? The M5 is tuned by PP-Performance to 640HP and 780 NM torque. Goes from 0-100kmh in 3.9 seconds and 310kmh top speed.

BMW tuner Alpha-N has released photos and some specs for their Alpha-N BMW M3 Coupe.

On the power front, a combination of a software ECU tune, a Dinan carbon fiber air intake, carbon fiber airbox cover and air intake snorkels, and an Akrapovic exhaust system manages to add 30hp the M3’s power figure.

The Alpha-N aero kit makes ample use of carbon fiber, with a CF front spoiler lip with brake cooling vents (by RKP), CF rear diffuser (by Varis), and CF rear spoiler wing (by RKP). The M3 coupe sits lowered on KW coilover suspension. The wheels shown are 19″ OZ Superfogiata wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires. Recaro Pro Racer Hans one racing seats replace the factory M3 seats.

Manhart Racing released its first 1M Coupe program last year - the 415 horsepower MH1 Biturbo, but the German tuner is back with an even more potent version - the 465 horsepower MH1 S-Biturbo.

The MH1 S-Bitrubo 1M features what Manhart calls its Stage 3 tuning program. The Stage 3 program bumps the 1M’s power up to 465 hp and 442 ft-lb torque via their ECU software tune, upgraded intercooler, oil cooler, carbon fiber air intake with carbon fiber piping, sports exhaust system, and downpipes.

The suspension is upgraded via coilover suspension and the MH1 S-Biturbo sits on 20-inch AC Schnitzer Type 5 forged wheels with Continental Sport Contact 5 tires.

Japanese tuning company 3D Design releases its aero kit for the F30 3 Series sedan.

From the company’s inception in 1998 the gentlemen at 3D Design Japan have worked persistently to develop a brand focused on the idea of clean lines and top shelf products produced in conjunction with top shelf manufacturers. The new generation of BMW chassis pose a interesting challenge due to the fact that the Munich designers have done a excellent job with the aesthetics. The F30 is no exception. Although the variance from the E9X chassis is slight the gents at 3D Design needed to develop a aero line that was simple while bringing a more aggressive presence to the new flagship vehicle.

Kelleners has announced its full F30 3 Series tuning program encompassing both cosmetic and performance upgrades.

On the cosmetic front, the aerodynamics parts include a front spoiler lip (for non M Sport F30), a rear bumper skirt with diffuser (for non M Sport F30), and a trunk spoiler. Kellener’s Hamburg and Berlin wheels are available in 19″ or 20″.

On the performance side, Kelleners offers a quad exhaust system, lowering springs (30mm/1.18in Front, 25mm/0.98in Rear), or coilover suspension which allows lowering of up to 60mm / 2.36in.

A range of ECU software tuning systems are also available. They yield the following gains:

316d: increase from 116 hp / 191 lb-ft to 139 hp / 230 lb-ft
318d: increase from 122 hp / 206 lb-ft to 154 hp / 247 lb-ft… CONTINUED

The 1M is a rather unique short-run car and apparently its owners think that it calls for a rather unique color, as seen in the several custom colors we’ve already see the 1M coupe in.

This one has been painted in Irie Green, fitted with 10mm spacers in the rear, lowered on Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilover suspension and powered by a lightweight titanium exhaust system.
