German car magazine Sport Auto hosts an annual event called the Tuner Gran Prix (or Tuner Wars as some call it). Nearly every major German car tuner attends, along with some smaller private teams. The atmosphere is more like a club racing event than a high stress professional race, with lots of rare and expensive cars thrown in!

Here’s a first. Ever wonder how the M3 would look with a 1M style front? Well it’s now been done. LTBMW has fitted this E92 M3 coupe with a front bumper in the style of the 1M coupe, complete with functional air curtain vents!

BMW enthusiasts and tuners gathered for the 2012 Bimmerfest event yesterday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA.
BMW may have produced the MiniE and ActiveE (electric versions of the Mini Cooper and the 1 Series Coupe), but EV West, a California conversion shop decided to electrify a more performance based nameplate - the M3… the E36 M3 to be exact.
EV West took a 1995 BMW M3 and replaced its 6 cylinder 240hp S52 engine with a NetGain DC electric motor and Evnetics Soliton Shiva motor controller, packing 420 totally green horsepowers!
For its first real test, this M3 will compete in “electric” heat of this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado (also known as the “90th Race to the Clouds”). One of the more exciting items from the full BMW M Performance Parts catalog for the F30 3 series are the M Performance Brakes. These are Brembo 4-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle and 2-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle. They come in red, yellow, or orange and feature the M logo on the calipers.
The internally-vented lightweight sports rotors measure 370 x 30 mm (diameter x thickness) on the front axle and 345 x 24 mm on the rear axle. Unlike the M Sport brake discs, the M Performance brake discs are cross drilled for better grip and grooved to reduce water film build up. Meisterschaft has released its exhaust systems for the F30 335i (N55) 3 series. The two systems are the Meisterschaft Super GT and Meisterschaft GTC complete down-pipe back exhaust systems (section 1,2, & 3), with exhaust tip options of 4×90mm and 2×102mm.
The focus was placed on achieving a smoother flow with less “vortex” turbulence and more linear exhaust flow. The exhausts are hand-crafted and features 3.5″ inch piping from down pipe connection all the way throughout the rear muffler section (start to end).
The Meisterschaft GTC system offers a variable exhaust tone/note by featuring an electronic valve system that the driver controls via a hard wire switch or wireless remote. The valve allows the exhaust to go from a virtually stock exhaust note to the much more aggressive … CONTINUED
