Active Autowerke held its 30th anniversary spring social this past weekend. Attendance was high and the rides were stunning. A slew of photos and a video from the enthusiast gathering have been posted inside.
Prior Design provides a preview of their stunning upcoming F12/F13 6-series coupe and convertible aerodynamics kit currently in development. The kit features heavy doses of black-out effect, with black wheels, grilles, side turn signal element, and roof. Also seen is a beefy and aggressive front bumper replacement with carbon fiber lip, a vented hood, quad exhaust and rear bumper replacement with carbon fiber rear diffuser section. Real photos and more details to come when available.
The Russian customizers who made the notorious Gold X5M are using their creativity and bravado once again, this time putting together a beautiful matte silver 135i. We’ve seen plenty of matte gray and black BMWs, but few matte titanium silvers. It proves to be stunning under interior lighting, but especially gorgeous out in the night under highway lights. The 1M MotoGP Safety Car was recently unveiled and will be one of the M cars serving as a safety car for the 2011 MotoGP, the world’s premier motorcycling championship. But the 1M coupe won’t be serving its safety duties in regular form. It has been gussied up, sporting an Akrapovic exhaust, large rear wing, large M striping, black wheels, black exhaust tips, vented hood, black grilles, and a front spoiler chin, some of which we hope will become available accessories.

The F10 5-series appears to be the darling of the BMW tuners this year at Geneva. Kelleners Sport brought only one car to the show – their Kelleners 520d M-sport. At a glance, Kellener’s F10 program features:

Renowned BMW tuning house Alpina has brought its latest F10/F11 creations to the Geneva auto show. Both the Alpina F10 sedan and F11 touring boast 507hp / 700Nm torque from the 4.4L V8 twin-turbo motor, mated to a ZF 8 peed sport automatic transmission (“Switch-tronic”). 0-100kmh (62 mph) is accomplished in 4.7 seconds for the F10 B5 and 4.8 seconds for the F11 B5.
The AC Schnitzer 99d generates only 99g/km CO2 – that’s less than any standard BMW vehicle available at present.
And despite this, driving pleasure is guaranteed thanks to 190 HP / 140 kW. The 99d accelerates from 0 – 100 in an electrifying 6.9 s and has a top speed of 235 km/h – a vehicle with all the sporting genes, in fact a true AC Schnitzer. And with a fuel consumption of just 3.8 litres diesel per 100 km.
