World premiere in Paris: the new BMW X3.
The new BMW X3 steps up for its world debut at the Paris Motor Show as the successor to a genuine top seller. Compared with its successful predecessor, the new Sports Activity Vehicle delivers that bit more agility as well as driving comfort. A similarly palpable increase in interior space and stowage capacity benefits rear-seat passengers in particular, but is also welcome in the luggage compartment. With its load capacity now expandable from 550 to 1,600 litres … CONTINUED
One of the first things to catch your eye at the BMW stand in Paris this year has to be the BMW Z4 sDrive35is in Atacama Yellow. I believe this is part of the Limited Edition Design Pure Impulse package originally intended for the UK (and seen here: http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=404269). Here’s a fascinating look into the day-to-day life at BMW in the birth of a new car. This 3 part series is longer than the original 3 part series on BMW.TV. covering the initial design concepts. As Scott26 says – pay attention because you will see some of these ideas and design elements in the future.
We bring you the first high definition video of the BMW 6-series coupe concept. The videos provide some unique perspectives of both the exterior and interior of the new concept, including the exterior lighting elements and the gorgeous new i-drive screen in action.
Independent car reviewer The Getawayer spends a weekend with the F10 525d. While not an initial fan of the car based solely on styling, a weekend with the car convinces him that the F10 is superb. See his review here.
As expected, the dontblogaboutthis BMW Mystery Car has a new look. Up until now it has been in a randomly thrown-together looking VED+6-series form. The look we’re looking at is the form that this concept car may take at a possible unveiling at the 2010 Paris Motor Show next week (albeit without the camouflage scheme). It’s been rumored that the car could feature multiple electric engines or 3-cyilnder diesel.
Whether or not this hybrid concept car is unveiled at the Paris Motor show, its next showing … CONTINUED
BMW has released another teaser video of this unidentified hybrid powertrain BMW. This one shows the car being loaded onto transport, so perhaps this is the last video we see prior to a debut at the Paris Motor Show in 2 weeks.
