Cars I See has released its second installment, following the first which featured an enthusiast’s love for his E30 through 20 years of ownership.

This new installment again features a BMW – this time a classic 1972 BMW 2002. It’s owned and loved by Patrick Burns, who inherited and shares his love for BMWs from his father Wendell. How much love? Father and son own six BMWs between them.

All in all, it’s a great story, proving that BMWs (and automobiles) can help bring people together. Afterall, isn’t … CONTINUED

Although the M3 handles well in the wet for a high performance car, it cannot defy the laws of physics and is susceptible to the whims of mother nature.

This video is proof. It shows an M3 careening out of control over multiple lanes on the rain soaked highways of Taiwan.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt after the M3 crashes and rolls, but it’s a serious reminder to use caution when driving in the wet.

The system is claimed to lower the back pressure and gives the M5 more power and torque through the whole range of RPMs while increasing responsiveness. Gains are achieved without removing the catalytic converters.

The new Evolution exhaust system consists of newly developed dual-outlet mufflers with exhaust valves, flow-optimized pipes, and a cast … CONTINUED

Here’s a video summarizing the M135i hatchback [official thread] [reviews].

Although the M135i will not be available in the North American market, it’s recently been rumored that a M235i coupe (2 Series coupe version of the M135i) will be the first M Performance Automobile to be introduced to the US market. On July 21, 2012 the M Owners Club of Indonesia (MOCI) had their monthly event in Bandung, attended by 20+ M cars – ranging from 1Ms, M3s, E60 & F10 M5s, and M6. Seen at the event were many updates to members’ cars like a CRT front lip on the frozen gray M3, a couple done up 1Ms, and a 12″ ADV.1 on E90 M3. Looking forward for the next event! Although it’s a powerful beast, it’s clear that a stock F10 M5 is no match for the Ferrari 458 on the track. But, how about a tuned M5 with 640hp? The M5 is tuned by PP-Performance to 640HP and 780 NM torque. Goes from 0-100kmh in 3.9 seconds and 310kmh top speed.

Check out the results from this comparison video of the M5 vs Ferrari at the Yas Marina track in Abu Dhabi.
