On this episode of Head 2 Head, Motor Trend’s Jonny Lieberman pits the 2013 BMW M5 against the 2013 Porsche Panamera GTS in an epic super sedan showdown. The battle begins in California’s Mojave desert with a classic quarter-mile drag race. Then Jonny takes both V-8 powered sports saloons up to Big Bear, California to find out which one carves up the winding mountain roads the best.

Check out the dyno results from the EAS Dyno Day this past weekend. 22 BMWs (mostly M3s) showed up throughout the day to put their engines to the test on a Dynoject 224xLC. The day started at 8:00 with the temperature already in the low 80’s, and ended at about 5:30 in the high 90’s! Regardless of the California heat, the cars performed well and everyone seemed to enjoy the show, food and the friendly competition.

The highest dyno’d car was a Matte Black ESS VT2-600 supercharged E92 M3 with 562hp / 364lb-ft torque. They even had the F12/F13 M6 on the dyno.

Autoexpress puts two potent German convertibles to the test - the 2013 M6 Convertible (F12) against the 2013 Mercedes SL63 AMG.

On paper, the F12 M6 features a 4.4L V8 pushing 560hp/680 Nm torque, while the SL63 is powered by a 5.4L V8 with 556hp/800 Nm torque.

Autocar India conducts its annual Autocar Trackday 2012, pitting India’s 11 best driver’s cars against each other at the hands of Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan.
