Site member Palbay spotted the new F13 M6 Coupe in Sakhir Orange with M Carbon Ceramic Brakes at the BMW Performance Center in Spartanburg, SC. Posing next to it was a Monte Carlo Blue M5 for a good visual comparison of the two cars.

The tuned X6 M first hits the dyno at PP Performance’s factory. It then hits the quarter mile track and takes on a Mercedes SL65 AMG BLack Series where it shows what a monster its S63 engine is and can be.
Although it’s a powerful beast, it’s clear that a stock F10 M5 is no match for the Ferrari 458 on the track. But, how about a tuned M5 with 640hp? The M5 is tuned by PP-Performance to 640HP and 780 NM torque. Goes from 0-100kmh in 3.9 seconds and 310kmh top speed.

At the halfway point of this season’s DTM schedule, the race series put on an exhibition stadium race at the Munich Olympic Park Stadium. So what is a stadium race?
It’s a non-points showcase race event in the famous 1972 Olympic stadium where two DTM cars are placed on separate, but identical tracks, and race for the fastest finish time, similar to the Race of Champions concept.
