AC Schnitzer has begun its work on the all new E84 BMW X1 and as usual the first order of bussiness are the wheels. ACS have adapted their familiar line of wheels in terms of fitment to the X1 without any new designs. The wheels are seen ranging from 18"-20" with a variety of widths.

BMW has released a series of videos of the BMW X1 being produced at the Leipzig plant giving us a welcomed behind the scenes look at the production of a modern BMW. BMW has targeted 300 as the number of X1s to produce per day with Europe targeted as the primary market. Prices are expected to span a wide range correlating with the wide variety of engines available that should be available in Europe (18i and 20d up to 30i).

Production of the BMW X1 has begun for the European market, for deliveries starting next month. The US will get the X1 in 2011.
The BMW X1 is set to be a hit for BMW in the compact SUV market, especially in europe where a presense in this market is becoming more and more important.
Since September 1st, 2009 the plant has begun churning out 75 of these cars per day, which will ramp up to 300 per day at the end of the year.

BMW has been upping their web game recently with more and more sleek websites that showcase their new cars in different ways. The theme for the X1 is definitly joy or basicly just have some fun. I love the site and the pictures of the car on the site are actually phenomenal. I cant wait to release those pictures to the public.
